Juxtaposing science with magic today for #inktober day 8: star + #inktoberwitches astral magic. This is another one where the thumbnail had some strengths over the final. For the next one I am going to go through and analyze what I like about the thumb before I dive in!

#inktober day 5: chicken + sacrifice. This one is the biggest improvement from a thumbnail I hated to a final that I loved.
So much of this came together, I was surprised and delighted. Sometimes your art just works our, you know? I love her hair and her jeans and the sparkles and basically… all of it. She may just have to stick around as inspiration for a character in Weatherwax.

Here’s my day 1 inktober for the combined prompt Poison + Garden. Catch a glimpse of those lovely Hellebore flowers. My thumbnail (the 2nd image) had a bit more strength in the composition’s values, but I think it’s okay. I hope you guys enjoy!
