So here we have a side by side of the first version of my Twisted Little Red Riding Hood illustration done in 2019 vs the one drawn this in February. I think it is an improvement.

One of the big things that I wanted to address in the new version was the Day of the Dead theme in that it is a more colorful event/world than what I had originally had. So vibrant colors was a must.

So today will be when the Moon and Sun Tier patrons on my Patreon vote to either continue with this specific theme, pick one of my previous Twisted Fairy Tales to explore further with new art and designs, or pick a whole new fairy tale and make it “Twisted”.

Cupid and Psyche + Hollywood Glamour = Twisted Cupid and Psyche

…and this is the illustration created based off this theme . I took inspiration from J.C. Leyendecker’s “Couple Descending Staircase” and Alphonse Mucha’s Art to create this. I was trying to capture the look of vintage Hollywood glamour. This will join my Inprnt.com print line up at the end of this month.
