A/N: So–Grammys Yoongi would not let me rest and attacked me from all sides. He basically just wrote all of the content for this update! Also, the next few chapters will contain scenes heavily inspired by (actually, some directly lifted) from the movie, Someone Like You (2001). It’s a fun, albeit cliché, rom-com but one of my faves! this was sweet tho, I mean their banter is heinous and yet so fitting, and their team is naturally uncomfortable which I so get, because they’re in the ‘touch me – all the time’ phase, and the conversation for clearing things was,, heavy but needed and it was also mature even if she was holding her breath (I held my breath with yn because OFCOURSE I’M TEAM YN EVEN IF I’M JOON BIASED) but they’re, cute, and stable and its a rock being slid over the inferno that they once were, its pretty grounding if I do say so myself.
But the focus point for me was jungkook and yn, I mean, I can’t get enough of sibling dynamics, and their’s is so seperate and easy but also supportive and together with the banter involved and IT’S SO HARD TO BRING ACROSS SIBLINGS BECAUSE THEYRE WEIRD. my brother and I literally try to push each other of the top of the stairs atleast twice a day and yet, I share the same blanket on the couch with him, and it’s so good to see that portrayed.
Also, Namjoon had quite a Namjoon-worthy reaction to that pool. alot of people would laugh it off. But it’s not an overreaction i feel, because joon works hard to be a senior person and takes care of his rep and funny stuff like a pool, would be off-putting for someone like that
