I don’t like characterizations that Sesshomaru’s mom is/was jealous and bitter. I feel like she, even more so than her late husband, is a deeply detached person who does not hold much value in human ideals of monogamy and relationships.
Turning her into a jilted ex kind of doesn’t vibe with what we’re presented by Takahashi. She’s too old and too… ethereal for that.
I also don’t think she holds any real bigoted opinions towards humans either aside from “They’re lesser beings but they’re also cute and fun”.
