I’m trying to be less precious with my work, because I always come back to things I slaved away at only to see all the imperfections, whereas this took like an hour and is nice and dynamic. A big issue I have is the ¾ pose syndrome, so I want to break away from that, and drawing my characters in more dynamic poses will also let me see what design elements are and are not working

Finally got a look for Isaac I’m happy with, especially moving away from that yellow and black look. The white and green leans more into his celtic origins, and the white will look better with battle damage.
