#i’m getting a new laptop within the month
I’ve been seeing pro-Firefox propaganda recently and I am all for it. I finally switched to Firefox on my school account after using my home account and immediately my school board lost all control over my browser.
On Chrome my school made it so they forced a couple add-ons and I was unable to install any other ones, they locked out settings and features, on top of that they had installed an add-on which completely monitored all tabs I had open along with many other features which could genuinely could be classified as a security and privacy risk.
In Firefox all of that was gone. It was just regular Firefox but I could log into my school account from there. My school lost any and all control over it. Firefox even has a profile switcher to keep those two profiles separate. Use Firefox
