Tomorrow in #London at the #JapaneseEmbassy - let’s help the #cetaceans who are being brutally slaughtered in #Taiji. Repost from @richardobarry - A pod of about seven or eight Risso’s dolphin were migrating offshore in international waters earlier this morning. They were complete and perfect after 65 million years of evolution. As I write this, with trembling index finger, the pod is being reduced to small chunks of meat on a cold concrete floor. It’s outrageous. Enough is enough. So what can we can do about? We can SHOW UP and voice our outrage at the Japanese Embassy in London at noon on Friday, December 18th. If you can’t be there please use your computer to contact the animal welfare industry in the UK and ask them to please INFORM THEIR MEMBERSHIP about the protest on Friday. There are millions of members who have no idea this is going on. Contact the UK based groups such as the RSPCA, WWF, WDCS, PETA, EII, Greenpeace, IFAW, and all of the others. There is no reason why we can’t get 10.000 protesters in front of the Japanese Embassy on Friday. 10.000 is a very small number relative to the millions of MEMBERS of the various groups in the UK. The Japanese government would not be able to deal with that kind of a public relations nightmare. Let’s do this and end the dolphin slaughter once and for all. Enough is enough!
