Most of the raiders were weirded out when they were told that baby-faced kid was supposed to be the Overboss. They snatched him when he had been hunting with Danse and before he knew it, he was in the Nuka World, facing the Gauntlet. And now he was on top of Fizztop Mountain Grille trying to look tought and cool, while being absolutely terrified inside. As far as he was concerned, he was there for the soda.

~Was there a point to have a home in a place like the Commonwealth? Jay’s home was whenever the Paladin led him. He gladly followed, overcoming his fears. Sometimes the Commonwealth would grant a lovely warm evening at the edge of the summer. Sometimes the world was still beautiful.

Those little moments of beauty and warmth were enough to live for.

Jay’s Home Plate turned into the place for all the junk he collects and of course, his favorite kitchen, Danse’s workshop and a comfy little bedroom for all the sexy Jay shenanigans.

~ Jay is still being his silly self. He falls into ditches, swears like a sailor, desperately tries to be cool, falls in love with a certain paladin, is a mess and generally a coward but occasionally he is awesome, makes delicious Wasteland food and homemade explosives, helps ghouls and is scared of just about of everything. 

I love him tho :O

He woke up with a start hours later, breathing fast, his heart racing. It was dark, only dim light of oil lamps brought out the shapes of things around him. The straw pillow beneath his head was wet with tears.

He lay there staring into the murk, eyes gleaming from tears, thoughts soaring into daydream.
