Since@marzena-doe mentioned wanting to see more of the wedding on TV, I thought I’d re-post this old image — which thrilled her back when Zetarok created it. This scene was part of the House of Mongo comic series.
While the TV wedding was only an illusion, Jedda and Krotan get married for real in this one — which there’s no mistake of in the scenes that follow…
Of course, at this point, Krotan has changed for the better, largely due to his bond with Jedda. And, naturally, in order to marry Krotan, Jedda had to make two of the biggest decisions of her life. The first was to follow her heart and move to Mongo. But before she could do that, she had to have a serious talk with her father about leaving the Phanton legacy behind.
Us J/K fans really, really wanted to see this kind of character development and radical decision-making on the TV show, rather than perpetually being told that Krotan is bad and Jedda is the next Phantom. It was very nice to reexamine their bond in this series. The illustrators did an amazing job.
