“One second everything was fine, and then that GTA fan ran off with my precious baby and some guy’s gun. Please, Corso, he won’t hurt your blaster. At least, a blaster can’t be crashed, but a ship can. I’m so nervous”
“I came here to complete my training, but instead I got into some high school drama, and we’re trying to find out who’s the most popular sith in the Academy. Hey, Vette, I have your vote, right?”
Sith Inquisitor:
“My whole life has been some hell, but it’s about to change now that I have this big bloodthirsty, grumpy and constantly nostalgic scary guy who eats people. My very first friend”
Imperial Agent:
“Oh yeah, I’m that famous pirate. I do a lot of… pirating… stuff. Oh, you think I’m an impostor? Well, maybe that’s the Red Blade YOU have met was an impostor! I bet he’s jealous I’m prettier than him”
Bounty Hunter:
“I left for FIVE minutes, and now everyone is dead because of some dude who has no taste in make-up whatsoever, and the big worm gave the token to some lizard instead of me, what are the odds?”
After some bitter negotiations, I allowed my daughter to play a little more tonight after she practiced her reading.
CattGirl had a lot of fun today. I let her pick a new pet from my stash, and she chose this guy:
My daughter was delighted that Lolly now had a friend. She named her Bluey after one of her favorite shows. The three of them played hide and seek.
Followed by some splashing in the water.
CattGirl frolicked in the flowers.
And fed a starving infant! (My daughter was a bit annoyed you don’t get to see the flesh raider baby)
It was around this point that I had to answer a call and stepped away from the computer. Upon hanging up, I turned around to see a grim little face informing me that something terrible had happened.
Thankfully, CattGirl was only mostly dead, so she is expected to make a full recovery, but she is taking the rest of the evening easy.
I was informed by my 5 y/o today that she is NOT bored of CattGirl yet and that she has many important things to do in the game. Such as…
1.) Making sure Lolly is still following her (He was)
2.) Jumping up and down for Lolly “because he’s TOO CUTE!!!”
3.) Standing under all the waterfalls on Tython so CattGirl can take a shower…
4.) “Checking on the floating things"
5.) Visiting Kolovish. And singing a song about Kolovish all the way up the mountain… and all the way down. I was informed rather savagely that Kolovish is an old woman just like me.
6.) Lolly sat on the couch. Reminder: He is very cute
7.) “Him again! I can’t understand him, but I think he’s nice.”
8.) “Uh oh. I don’t think we’re supposed to be here.”
Here’s to another fun night of running, jumping and looting with CattGirl!
My 5y/o daughter wanted to play SWTOR with me, so I sat her on my lap and let her hit the space button to make my character jump, which delighted her for about fifteen minutes. She said she liked my character, but thought she would look better with purple hair. Eventually, she became so insistent that I just let her jump into the character creator to mess around (I wielded the mouse and let her make the big, executive decisions).
She wanted to make a Jedi with “big force powers”, and selected the Jedi Sage as her class. Toying briefly with the idea of making a Togruta (”Like Ahsoka”!), she eventually settled on a Cathar. She was only moderately disappointed that this choice meant she could not have purple hair. Luckily, the cool stripes on her face made up for the inconvenience.
Next she set about the task of naming her new character. Sadly, Rose was taken. As was Lily. Not to be deterred, my daughter declared that she knew EXACTLY what her character’s name should be.
And thus… CattGirl was born.
CattGirl likes running and jumping.
She also “needs to relax once in a while” after a long day kicking bad guy butts.
CattGirl’s favorite thing is this rainbow:
And her adorable pet Tauntaun named Lolly (My daughter was very upset that there is no feature that allows CattGirl to cuddle and/or snuggle Lolly)
I’m very much looking forward to the ongoing adventures of CattGirl.
