The Lawnmower Man (1992)
In this sci-fi movie, Jeff Fahey plays Jobe, a man with a learning disability who works at a church doing odd jobs.
When the priest is unhappy that Jobe has forgotten some of his duties, Jobe’s made to kneel down and tell the priest what will help him remember. Jobe points to a belt hanging from a nail and the priest takes it while Jobe removes his shirt. We then see him receive two hard strokes and hear a further two more.
