A flower girl who’s part of a magical ancient race.

Aerith is one of the main characters from the classic Final Fantasy VII , she’s a funny,gentle and happy-go lucky girl who loves to help other people and can with the power of the elements.

Recently after clearing FFVII remake part 1, I rediscovered just how cool she is and I was super impressed by the way her character got developed so well. You actually care a lot for her and knowing what I know of the plot, I couldn’t help but feel sad from time to time just spending time with her. I’m super curious about what the future brings for Aerith in the next parts of the game.

I think she would make an awesome addition to smash as an assist trophy <3 She’d be cool as a character as well but that would be a loooong stretch x)

Sub Zero / Scorpion

GET OVER HERE!

These guys are some of the most iconic characters in the world of fighting games even though they started as very simple kind of generic (but cool) looking ninjas, they’ve evolved over the years into their own iconic selves and even though I do not follow the LONG and complicated lore of Mortal Kombat I really like these guys and I really think they deserve a spot (along with their other recolors as skins)

When I was around 9, my best friend gave me Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the N64 as a birthday present and I remember being super hyped about it, after some practice I was fighting on a level that’s a bridge and I dropped my enemy onto a bed of spikes, little did I know my mom just came into the room and was pretty upset about it and she made me trade MK3 for the complete opposite of this game…Yoshi’s Island I was so sad about it.

Even though the MK games are famous for being overly violent I bet they could implement the serie’s feel in a more stylistic way, similar to when ridley killed Mario in its reveal trailer(or just use friendship moves hahah)

For quite some time I’ve been pretty sure they would be the last addition (specially Sub Zero with his ice powers), but after watching many speculation videos of the last DLC character in Smash. I’m pretty sure they won’t get in, and I’m fairly convinced that the last character will be the main protagonist from the new Shin Megami Tensei game hahah, similar to when they added
Incineroar, Corrin and other characters to promote an upcoming game andake the game take little longer to age.

But we’ll see, these last characters have been pretty unexpected

Miles “Tails” Prower

Sonic’s two tailed, flying, mechanic, best friend!

I love tails. Always have. He’s my favorite character in the Sonic universe and it’s been that way since I first played as him on my cousin’s Sega Genesis hahaha. Just being able to fly around was a very novel concept for me when I was a kid so I immediately liked him way better than sonic who only runs fast but can’t fly :P (plus he’s very cute)

I also like playing as him on Sonic Adventure 2, in his blue airplane mecha, and blowing stuff up in his levels. I really think he’d be cool in Smash as a character, but I think he’d fit better as an assist trophy though :B

I recently saw Studio Ghibli’s Porco Rosso for the first time and I absolutely loved it, usually when I would ask people about the movie I would get pretty “meh,it’s ok” answers but after finally watching it for myself, I really liked the plot and found all the characters to be very charming ❤️

If you’ve been skipping this one like I did, I highly recommend it

The unstopabble space suit wearing earthworm!

Earthworm Jim is such a cool an underrated character from the mind of the brilliant @dougtennapel . Back in the 90’s he was a total icon with a great run of 2d sidescrolling action games and even a cartoon. To this day the EJ games artstyle still looks gorgeous and I’d love to see the character return with a vengeance <3
(The hell level always gave me the creeps as a kid xD)

I can totally picture him kicking some ass in smash while screaming GROOOVY!

The main antagonist in the Soul Calibur series and wilder of the terrifying sword “Soul Edge”

Story time!

The very first time I played Soul Calibur I had no idea what I was playing. I was around 8 years old in a little Arcade in Guanajuato visiting some cousins and I remember just loving the boxy 3D graphics of the first installment in that arcade cabinet.

My immediate pick was this badass looking monster wielding a giant sword and clearing the entire game with it on the first go. I LOVED the fact that you could actually hit people out of the arena and win that way and would constantly run towards my opponents and tackle them to their doom. After playing for like an hour without losing, people started interrupting my game by inserting coins and forcing me to 2 player battles trying to beat me but they couldn’t, I was like a little beast while playing as Nightmare. Suddenly a local gang walked into the place and they started challenging one by one until their leader fought me and beat me on round 1, still, after an intense battle I won on round 3, and when turned around there was a huge crowd surrounding us. It was a pretty surreal experience, I felt like I was in some sort of movie hahahah

Anywho, I never knew what the game was called until years later when I was in junior high and Soul Calibur came out on the PS2, XBox and Gamecube. Link was included on the Nintendo version so it was very appealing to check that game out, and that’s when I rediscovered Nightmare and til today, SC2 remains one of my all time favorite fighting games.

With only one spot left in the Smash Ultimate roster available I really don’t think we’re getting a SC rep, but if he did, I’d be super stoked <3

I made a remake of my original Link drawing I made for the Smash Buddies series.

It’s been three years since I started working on the series and I’ve grown a lot since then.

When I originally started I was going for something with a more cartoony feel to it, so the first batch of characters isn’t as serious or detailed looking, however as the project moved along and I experimented with different styles it grew out of it’s more comical roots and turned into a much more action focused series, always trying to draw the characters in cool poses representative of their smash movesets :)

I’m very proud of all I’ve done with the series and for quite some time people reach out to me to ask for permission to use my drawings in their smash related content, and for some time I’ve felt that Link (and other characters) was in need of a visual update to mix better with the rest of the series (specially since he’s a very popular character), so that’s why I remade him and I’ll probably do the same for some of the other characters that I feel could use a little update ^^

Morrigan

Morrigan Aensland is a succubus and the main representative of the Darkstalkers fighting game series.
Ever since I played the first Darkstalkers game on an arcade back in the 90’s I’ve been in love with the series, specially their very unique roster of characters which to this day remains one of my favorite fighting game rosters of all time.
All of the characters are based on horror,myths and legends and they’re all so cool! When I was a kid, a lot of us had a crush on Morrigan hahahah, she’s such a sexy and iconic character and her design is so cool.

I’ve always felt that Capcom not reviving the series is a huge sin and a waste of a great set of characters.

Morrigan is the most popular in the bunch, however all of them shine on their own and I’d love to see a return of the series with a visual upgrade ala DBZ Fighters if possible <3

With Morrigan being the most well known character from the series it makes sense that’d she’d be the first option to join a Smash game. I don’t think she ever will but you never know!
