I’m relatively new to the Rookie fandom and am on season 4(A) so far these are my Season 4 favourite and least favourite couples:

Of course a favourite: Chenford - I actually came to this fandom bc I had heard a lot about Chenford and was curious to see what they were all about. To be honest I didn’t really see the real sparks until season 3 and I really shipped them hard this season. The chemistry was there and I could tell that something was probably going to happen. However I heard people were saying that the producers were screwing with us Chenford shippers this season and I could see why. With people like Sanford and Tim dating Ashley. I actually found it a bit funny but I know I just have to wait for the good stuff. I personally love a slow burn (if done right)

Wopez - I loved them in the beginning and to be honest I felt like their ship fizzled down a bit too quickly. Don’t get me wrong, I think it was sweet and cute that they are now married with a kid but I was all there in the beginning for their enemies to lovers thing going on. The end of season 4 did bring their dedication to each other to a test but I felt like they were trying to give Wesley more of an exciting storyline but it made him look like a screw up. It did show that he would do anything for his family, but I personally didn’t like this path the producers put Wesley on

Bailey and John: my least favourite couple. While I loved Jenna Dewan in movies like Step Up, I didn’t like her as Bailey. For one thing, I felt like the casting was not good for the role as Bailey, a firefighter and a former soldier. I couldn’t picture her as these things and I didn’t think it was believable considering her stature and the other roles she’s had. If Bailey was something like a policewoman or a EMT I probably would’ve believed it. Not only that, but the coupling of her and John just doesn’t seem to fit together well.

Harper and James: I love James and I thought he was such a genuine and caring guy from the first time he was introduced. I loved that Harper saw that and picked him over the other guy she was seeing. And the fact that she’s having a baby with him gives me all the feels.
