My first time experiencing Pastel pencils on Pastelmat ❤︎ I’ve been wanting to draw this pic again on a bigger scale since ever, and I’m so happy I finally did!
This pastel only exists thanks to none other than the sweetest @iartsometimes, who gave me the chance to try the Pastelmat and encouraged me along the way with her constant support and friendship. This version is even more beautiful, and I’m so happy you tried my favorite paper! He just pops right out yet has such a softness about him. The colors you chose are perfect, as is the blending! I can’t get over some of the details like his teeth, they’re so real and nuanced. I want to stroke that hair! The clothing is velvety. ❤ Look how far you’ve come with practice and be proud too!!!
