#just be a pebble

Here’s my storyboard drawing of the pan from “Just Be a Pebble” of Beardo’s shelf of ingredients. 

For those of you who want to get into storyboarding… this is NOT a normal level of detail for a storyboard drawing! I was new and trying to prove myself, so I probably went way too tight on it considering how amazing our design team is…! The final BG/prop pass of this shot was amazing thanks to John Pham’s art direction, Diego Molano on BG layout, William Gibbons on BG paint, Brandon Wu on props… I believe at least John and William contributed some puns, too haha. Hope someone uploads the final painting soon because it’s very beautiful and goes by super fast in the episode!!!

“Just Be a Pebble” was the first episode of OK KO that Mira Ong Chua and I storyboarded together! In fact, it was the first full episode that was produced of OK KO at all- we boarded it way back in 2015! Here’s a little animatic clip. 

It’s crazy seeing these old drawings…. the show grew SO MUCH during season 1. I can’t wait until you all can see where it goes!!!!

PS I will never storyboard debris this lovingly ever again so enjoy it while you can!!!!!!! Also an ULTRA-RARE LIMITED EDITION 5-FINGERED KO!!!!!
