So there was a cut scene where Marcy explained why she didn’t go out into the continent to actually look for Anne and Sasha, which apparently “Some newts” at the council suggested she should do.
She instead presents it as HER idea to instead stay and wait for Anne and Sasha to sooner or later make her way to the capital.
Now what I’m curious about is whether it really was her idea all along, and Andrias just went with it to make full use of Marcy’s talents and make her feel important in the capital, or whether Andrias subtly planted the idea in Marcy’s head, and just let her think it was her own idea, when in reality she was dancing on his puppet strings.
Either way, the result was the same. Withouth realizing it, she was chained to Newtopia, and only left it to go on very specific missions to further make her feel like Andrias appriciated her greatly.
Another board from Forever Road. I’m really proud of how this episode came out, one of our freelancers had to drop out due to technical difficulties so I volunteered to take their section because I wanted to hoard all these sweet car chase scenes for myself and ended up boarding about nine minutes of the episode.
I added this scene to Forever Road at the last minute after I’d finished the rest of the episode because I was looking at the whole thing together and decided we needed Vin to do more cool Carkour to drive home the point that Vin’s better at driving, LaGrange is just better at cheating.
LaGrange’s weird nightmare from the Forever Road episode of Ben 10, plus some stuff that was cut from the final version for length (timing on this video is my own), the idea was to have LaGrange being tormented by all the aliens he’s personally squared off with, but there wasn’t enough time to fit it all in the final cut
Boards for the Humungosaur VS Kevin Amalgam monster in “space” fight from Which Watch.
This was a uniquely complicated fight to choreograph because it’s “space rules” so none of the characters could move in a direction unless they were pushed that way by something else, and all of the arms on the Kevin monster have different powers associated with them so how he attacks and by association his ability to move or be moved depends on which arm is where. It meant I basically had to keyframe animate the fight as I went and colour code the arms to keep track of where everything was.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved Halloween episodes of my favorite shows. Fresh Prince, Family Matters, Home Improvement, Boy Meets World, and so much more. I was INCREDIBLY excited to be part of Tangled’s Halloween episode directed by the incomparable Tom Caulfield and written by Kelly Hannon. The show could not have turned out better! Please enjoy a smattering of my favorite shots from “The Wrath of Ruthless Ruth” and go watch the episode on the Disney Channel.
They are great at it too! ;)
