Why do people decide to have a destination wedding? Is it for their guests not to go?

I mean, one of my dearest cousins is going to get married in Cancun and I’m just getting that I cannot afford it, or if I can, I’ll spend the same as in a holiday but in like 3 days. Like ???!!!!!! I DON’T EVEN LIKE GOING TO THE BEACH.

I’m going to sit here and cry while I think I need a second job but I cannot have one since my full time job leaves me with no time nor energy. *le sigh*
