Summary: Iruka has cared for and protected Naruto for as long as he can recall. One fateful night, he was converted into one of the enchanted beings, a vampire. He never wished this on himself or anyone he loved, but he regrets nothing. He would go through death 100 times over to protect his brother. However, he may not be enough to protect Naruto from the evil that is coming for him. In fact, he may be a liability. As much as he hates to admit it, he may need help. And Tsunade knows just the hunter for the job! Too bad Kakashi is an insufferable jerk. Too bad he is also sometimes sweet and cute too.
His life is quite a mess, but add into that Sasuke trying to convert early and face a foe much deadlier and stronger than any of them and it adds more than Iruka can handle.
He tries to protect Naruto, but ends up costing them both more than they expected. Luckily the bond between Naruto and Iruka is strong enough to overcome any obstacle, even death.

Summary: In Konoha mythology, shinobi summons live in the underworld, mingling with the spirits of the dead. Twice a year, when the day and night are of equal length, doors open between the two worlds, allowing those who stumble upon them to pass through.
When Iruka unknowingly passes by one of these doors, something is waiting for him in the shadows. Something that smells the kyuubi on him and lures him through into the other world for its own nefarious purposes.
Kakashi follows him into the underworld, determined to bring him back. But he better find Iruka before the dawn, because once the sun rises the doors will close, and whoever’s left on the wrong side will be trapped with no way home.

Summary: Iruka is assigned to escort the royal consort during Konoha’s summer festival; but being nice and courteous is hard when trying to avoid an unwanted marriage proposal from the daimyo’s son. So he does the most logical thing and asks his friend Kakashi to be his pretend boyfriend for the weekend to avoid unnecessary drama. It doesn’t work at all.

Summary: Kakashi could see the vein on the man’s head getting bigger and bigger, his teeth grinding together, almost amusing and - and there was a whiff of the smell again.
Kakashi blinked his visible eye lazily, sniffing the air subtly - he was after a mission, so perhaps his imagination ran wild but… But it was there, the woods after the fresh rain and also the warmth of the lit firewood. Kakashi’s mouth opened under the mask, his body almost moving on his own, only to be stopped by the chunin Kakashi almost forgot was in the room finally snapping.
“Irresponsible! Good for heavy work, but writing a half decent scrolls is apparently way over their capabilities. ANBU being able to work in teams of one?! Forget it! There apparently need to be at least two, so one can read and the other to actually write!” It wasn’t even at Kakashi. Just because of him.

Summary: Aladdin!AU: Living like a thief in Agrabah’s streets, stealing to eat, and being a so-called “father figure” to Naruto, a war orphan he has practically adopted, certainly doesn’t give Iruka such a high life expectancy or comfort. But Iruka is trying to keep himself and Naruto out of unnecessary problems—and the keyword is trying. Because, when Iruka woke up this morning, surely helping a noble, sarcastic, and absolutely-not-gorgeous foreigner to escape the royal guard, involving himself in a conspiracy to overthrow the sultan when all he wanted was steal a simple jewel, and so ending up in a legendary magic cave in the middle of the desert, with a magic carpet and a drunk genius, who, of course, has magic powers and can bestow Iruka literally anything that he wants, wasn’t what he expected, at all.
But, yeah.
Gods may hate Iruka, but—in the end—it is worth the price to kiss the pretty mug of the (fake) sultan Kakashi Hatake.

Summary: It’s been a year since Iruka unmasked the ANBU Hound, and since then he and Kakashi have grown closer than Iruka ever dared to dream. Summary: Iruka woke up one day and found himself confined underneath a crazy woman’s home, hidden within a dark, dingy crawlspace, with his hands tied to a rusty water pipe above him. Worst of all was the younger boy right next to him, suffering the same fate. Iruka works at a Reserve which protects quite a few magical beings; he likes his job and the creatures he helps, especially with the company of Naruto, who happens to share his body with the fiery life-force of a fox-spirit. Iruka loves dragons and they love him… which is why he’s so perplexed when a white dragon found buried on a construction site absolutely hates him.

Summary: The Fourth Shinobi World War had taken someone precious from Iruka, and the year that followed was the worst of his life. Iruka’s struggle to break the surface of the sea of darkness threatening to drown him has him realizing that he doesn’t have to go through this alone, and that the most important people in his life are invaluable in his journey to healing. However, Iruka’s developing feelings for Kakashi are confusing and terrifying, and he has to figure out how to separate them from the turmoil of his past.

Through each other, they both discover that healing isn’t a linear path, love isn’t a rational emotion, and that if they both just try, they’ll find the answers they’ve both been looking for.

Summary: Between Naruto moving in, unpaid teacher training, and sporadic mission desk hours, Iruka can’t seem to make ends meet. Luckily, he’s found a job that starts after Naruto’s gone to sleep: a host and hostess club for Konoha’s wealthy elite.
