An eight-day week with two prompts for each day - you are welcome to choose between them, combine them, do them both, pick and choose whatever inspires you, of course!
If there is interest, we’d be happy to run prompt discussion posts with some sparks or questions to kick off thought about our prompts, as we did last year.
All gen or ship Kakashi-focused content is welcome, in whatever medium you create - we look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with, come September!

What kinds of works can I create? Anything centred on Kakashi and inspired by one (or more) of the prompts! That goes for any media and any content.
Do I have to work from the prompts? All Kakashi Week submissions must be inspired by one of the prompts (including, of course, the Free Day, for which you may draw in any inspiration you like).
Do I have to use both prompts for a day? Absolutely not! If you wish to combine them, feel free; if you wish to write something separate for every prompt, we are impressed and you are welcome to do so! You are only required to use one prompt to inspire your work, however.
Can I combine a prompt from this event and [some other event] to inspire one work? As long as it is within the other event’s rules, go for it!
Are early/late submissions accepted? No submissions before September 11th, please!
Late submissions will be reblogged until the end of September.
Are non-Kakashi ships allowed? As long as Kakashi (whether in a ship himself as well or not) is the main focus of the piece, any background/side ships are fine.
Are Kakashi/OC ships allowed? Of course!
Is NSFW content allowed? Absolutely! We dorequire you tag and warn appropriately, and keep NSFW content behind a cut, but all ratings and content are welcome.
Is [sensitive/triggering content of some kind] allowed? Absolutely! We do require you to tag and warn for the content appropriately, as well as tucking it behind a cut, but all content is welcome.
Can I submit an older/previously posted work for the event? Sorry, no. Only new works will be accepted for the event. New works that are connected to existing works or series are more than welcome however!
If I write for one prompt, is it okay if I draw for another? Of course! Mix and match between whatever mediums you choose for any of the prompts that inspire you.
What do I have to do to get my work in the AO3 collection? Our AO3 collection (Kakashi Week 2022) is open but moderated - but only so that we can ensure any mistake submissions are kept out (we’ve had a few) and be sure that we see all works for the event! All you have to do is submit your work to the collection and we’ll check that it’s for Kakashi Week, then approve it! (If we haven’t in a day or so, feel free to reach out to us via message or ask.)
I have a question that isn’t answered here! Please send us an ask or message and we’ll be happy to answer it!
No signup is necessary, and the event is open to everyone! You do not have to create for every prompt or every day - though you are welcome to do so! - choose whichever ones you like/are inspired by.
No bashing of any other participants, or their chosen ships or characters!
Guidelines: Fanfiction, fanart, moodboards, edits, headcanons & not!fics, cosplays, physical crafts, any medium you choose is more than welcome here!
Create anything your Kakashi muse inspires you to from this event’s prompts, for any ship or no ship at all. All works must be new/previously unpublished and inspired by one (or more) of the prompts.
Please include a cut for lengthy posts.
Any content is accepted, but do remember to tag all NSFW, kink, or trigger-worthy content, tuck it behind a cut, and include warnings where appropriate!
Anything with such content that does not have the warnings/cut will not be reblogged.
(Also remember that Tumblr has Strong Feelings on NSFW content these days, so artists, you may wish to host any NSFW content elsewhere (Pillowfort, Twitter, Dreamwidth, etc.) and link with or without a cropped version here on Tumblr.)

What is it: A fan creation event celebrating our favourite masked ninja! Gen or ship works are welcomed, of any rating or content, so long as they are Kakashi-centric and inspired by one or more of our prompts.
What are the prompts: Still to be decided! We are currently taking your suggestions (form can be found here) and will announce our prompts on April 3rd. There will be two prompts for each day, for a total of sixteen.
Who can play: Anyone who wishes to! No sign-up or anything necessary, only create works inspired by our prompts if you wish!
Where is it: Here on Tumblr @kakashiweek, on AO3 (our collection is Kakashi Week 2022), and while we are not running actively there we are also on Twitter @KakashiWeek!
What works are allowed: Any Kakashi-centric gen or ship content, in any medium you would like to create! Fanart, fanfiction, edits, not!fic, GIFsets, meta, etc. are all welcome!
