Drafted no. 103 in the 3rd Round, LB Leo Chenal could have an immediate impact on the Chiefs defense. Chenal, 6'2", 260 lbs, was a standout at Wisconsin and had an impressive 40 time of 4.53 seconds at the NFL Combine in April.
Chenal also impressed as a high school athlete who excelled at playing both running back and linebacker. He will bring athleticism and strength alongside veteran LBs Willie Gay and Nick Bolton.
Cardinals are holding steady! Saints are good, except for that last game. Seahawks and Chiefs are having a slow start. Am I surprised by the Texans? No, not really.
Fifty years ago on Jan. 15, 1967, the Green Bay Packers played the Kansas City Chiefs in the first AFL-NFL World Championship Game, known retroactively as Super Bowl I. Despite ticket prices of $6, $10, and $12, more than 30,000 seats at the Los Angeles Coliseum went empty for the “world championship.” The Packers won 35-10, with Bart Starr’s 250 yards passing and two touchdowns, both to Max McGee, earning him the MVP.
