Ellsworth Kelly’s Austin, in laser cut acrylic form. I made this a few months ago and kept it on my desk as a reminder to take a break and go see this installation at @blantonmuseum already. I finally did yesterday on impulse, between deliveries to stockists. As a compulsive overworker and introvert, I tend to not go out and see art as much as I know I need to. Art cannot exist in a vacuum, and you need to soak up all the inspiration you can in order to have that creative spark in your life. I’m so glad I finally made it yesterday to sit silently staring at the colorful windows. Swipe through for a few photos I took.
