Day 8: Earth/Flameless Day

Fon was a beta through and through despite looking like an alpha. He, in his lithe yet muscular body, had always been mistaken as an alpha throughout his years since childhood. His parents expected him to be an alpha, his grandparents expected him to be an alpha, heck even his neighbours expected him to be an alpha.

He never felt like an alpha though, not even before he was classified as a beta. He just felt normal. Like a normal person with blood flowing through his veins.

So no, he never identified himself as anything else but a human–a beta.

AO3

Being a beta wasn’t hard; you wouldn’t have to undergo a rut like an alpha would, or a heat like an omega would regularly. It was normal, as normal as it can be.

But it can be hard for a beta to survive in the society full of dominance by Alphas and Omega.

Fon was a beta through and through despite looking like an alpha. He, in his lithe yet muscular body, had always been mistaken as an alpha throughout his years since childhood. His parents expected him to be an alpha, his grandparents expected him to be an alpha, heck even his neighboursexpected him to be an alpha.

He never felt like an alpha though, not even before he was classified as a beta. He just felt normal. Like a normal person with blood flowing through his veins.

So no, he never identified himself as anything else but a human–a beta.

He sighed as he fixed his face mask properly, hat pulled down. People were staring at him again because of his fit and tall stature. He wasn’t bragging or anything, but gene was really a joke. He, a beta, had the height and fitness of an alpha, all gained from his hard work and training. And yet a lot of people first thought it was because he was an alpha when he was anything but.

Maybe he should just put up a sign saying ‘I’m a beta’ to get people off his back. (A lot of them maybe came for his figure, but 99% of them came because the thought he was an alpha.)

He didn’t have any discrimination against alphas, omegas or even betas like some betas would have complexes about it, he just hated how people thought all the fruit of his hard works were all because of his secondary gender. And they even got it wrong. It was fucking hilarious, if you ask him. And frustrating. God-fucking-damn frustrating.

Shaking his head, Fon pushed away all the irritation to the back of his mind. He had work to do, even if said work annoys him even further. Tapping his card on the sensor, he pulled the door open, making a beeline to the office as he nodded to the passing students. He was a history lecturer in this… Fancy university that should be sued for capitalism. Honestly, too much money was used on advertisement and not enough was supplied to improve facilities for the students and lecturers. Really, capitalists should die.

Fon sighed in relief once he safely made it to his office without anyone stopping him. However, when he stepped foot into it, he immediately regretted it.

The smell of an alpha and omega pheromones was so thick he felt nauseous.

Thank god for his mask.

He immediately backed out and pinched the bridge of his nose. Mukuro and Byakuran were at it again. He shared the same office with them for a few years now, and while they were good (questionable) colleagues, god forbid they flirt in front of Fon. They had been going at it since Mukuro started working and Byakuran kept trying to seduce him. Fon rooted for them, but fuck if he had to suffer another day smelling their pheromones, he would lock them up in a room for a week.

Or just outright end them, whichever comes first.

He huffed. At least they finally got together. Hopefully they’d learn some decency soon.

Maybe they won’t.

Fon so kindly locked up the room and messaged Byakuran.

“I helped you lock the office door. You owe me one :)”

Fon pulled out his phone to look at the time and paused. No mails, that was normal. He smiled at the background image he had set, stress dissipating. He missed his beloved, even if he had just left home about… An hour ago. An hour too long actually.

A loud moan reverberated out from the office.

Fon’s smile was gone and he wanted nothing more than snap someone’s dick in half.

He held himself back and did some breathing exercise, turning around and heading straight to the lecture halls. He could tell, it was going to be a damned long day.

.

For once, his lectures were quiet. Usually, his students would be engaging, enthusiastically answer his questions and pull him into debates about whether a historical figure was stupid or /stupid/. However, aside from timidly answering him when prompted, none of them spoke much. He would have asked if they were alright, but he wasn’t in the mood so it was good news for him.

Thankfully, with his running short fuse, it was finally his last class of the day. Eager to end it and return home to his beloved, he was even more scary with his smile that said 'Don’t Ask’.

Suddenly, he smelled blood. It wasn’t his blood, of course, and neither it was his students’ blood. No, it was more of a psychological thing.

Fon’s mouth snapped shut as he stared blankly into space.

He 'heard’ his beloved grumbles and whimpers.

When he came back to reality, he was already running out of campus and to his car, books and other stuffs left behind with a quick instructions to the TA, which he didn’t even remember what it was.

In record time, he was in his car and driving home.

'Love?’ He called out in his mind. 'Are you alright?’

He could still smell blood, but it was faint now. He felt his spouse tensing at the other end of their bond before hearing a sigh.

'Did you leave.’ A statement rather than question.

Fon stayed quiet.

'I’m fine.’

'I’ll arrive in 5.’

'Goback to work, Fon.’

'No.’

Another sigh. ’… Pick up coffee for me.’

Fon smiled and made a minute detour.

.

When Fon arrived home, he was attacked by an onslaught of pheromones. The one and only he loved and would react to despite being a beta. Breathing in deeply, all the crankiness he brewed throughout the day disappeared without a trace. “I’m home.” He announced loudly, toeing off his shoes and rushed in, not even bothered to arrange it properly. It was fine, he had more important thing to attend to.

Putting the coffee on the coffee table, he looked around and found that his love was nowhere to be found. He followed the trial of smell back to their bedroom. The door was halfway closed, leaving a glimpse of who was inside and their state. Fon took it all in with a fond smile.

Knocking gently on the door, he softly asked, “Can I come in?”

He had to stop himself from laughing when a head of messy hair popped out from the neat nest made of their unwashed laundry, cushions, bolsters and pillows. Even the Flareon and Umbreon plushies they had were not spared. It was so cute.

Reborn gave him a look and grunted. “Yes. Take off your clothes and give me.”

Fon chuckled, walked in and started stripping. He stood outside the nest, handing his clothes for Reborn to examine. He patiently waited for the results outside of the nest, smiling as he watched Reborn scrunitize his clothes.

“Why does it smell like that marshmallow bastard?” Reborn growled and Fon couldn’t help but shuddered. He loved how Reborn cusses.

“He and Mukuro, well, you know.”

Reborn scoffed. “Should’ve known that that two horny asses couldn’t keep their pants on.” He snarked and stuffed those clothes under the pile to erase and replace the smell with his scent. He then turned and squinted at Fon again.

“Bend down” Fon obediently did as ordered, careful not to overstep the boundaries and bared his neck for Reborn. Reborn leaned in and sniffed purring in possessive delight that no other scent stuck to his neck. In fact, Fon had wiped down his neck with wet wipes when he was buying coffee but Reborn didn’t need to know lest he took it differently. (He knew no one touched his neck, not that anyone dared to, but just in case someone else’s scent stuck to him.)

Reborn nosed his neck once and nipped at the permanent mark he made on Fon, causing the latter to shudder again. There was another purr, but it came from Fon himself. Fon loved how Reborn could take ownership of him even if he couldn’t do it to Reborn. He loved how he always bit that mark, lapping lovingly at it and kissing them. He loved seeing it in the mirror, loved touching it and feeling it throb faintly.

He loved just the same that he could mark Reborn again and again since he could only mark temporarily, loved biting into the skin, tasting the blood and Reborn keening at the bites. Fon loved everything about being a beta who fell for a possessive omega.

Reborn’s eyes were golden black when he pulled back, glinting. He shuffled back slightly and let Fon, who was in nothing but his boxers, join him in his nest. “Come in.” He said, giving consent to his loved.

Fon’s eyes shone and he carefully stepped over the boundaries, taking care not to accidentally kick down the walls of clothes. He settled in besides Reborn and sighed in relief at the lovely pheromones that surrounded him, making him all relaxed and safe.

Reborn quickly attached to him burying his face onto the crook of his shoulders, purring louder. Fon wrapped his arms around him and turned slightly to kiss his forehead, joining him in purring. He suddenly laughed. “I think I know why I was so cranky today.”

Reborn made a questioning sound, all but melting into his arms. “Your heat affected me. I could feel it through our bond.”

Reborn bit him. “Sucks to be you, then. I was busy nesting and you had to be away.”

Fon whined, nuzzling against him as he tightened his hold around him. “I thought it is tomorrow, that was why I planned to settle my leaves today.”

“Well, it came early.”

Fon hummed. “I’m glad it came early. I can keep you company longer.” He said lowly into Reborn’s ears. “Speaking of which, why did I smell your blood just now?”

He felt Reborn tensing against him and immediately drew comforting patterns on his back, purring louder to comfort him. “I don’t mean anything, I’m just a little worried…”

Reborn slowly relaxed as Fon patiently waited for his answers without rushing him. In fact, if Reborn didn’t want to speak of it, he wouldn’t force him to say either. “… I accidentally broke a nail.”

A sharp scratch on his chest made Fon hissed softly. He looked down and grabbed the hand, pulling it up to see the broken nail. It was broken, yes, but it wasn’t serious thankfully. However, it hurt Fon’s heart to see the redness at the edge, feeling the pain even though it wasn’t his wound.

He kissed the finger and cooed. “Oh, baby. It must’ve been painful.” He kissed again.

Reborn snorted, but by the purrs he sounded happy that Fon was worried about him. “It’s nothing. I can take more than this, you know that.”

Fon nodded, rubbing and cuddling him closer. “Uhum, I know. You’re the strongest person I ever know, and I’m so happy that you’re mine. You worked so hard and surpassed everyone’s expectation. You proved everyone wrong about how you aren’t limited to anything just because you’re an omega, and I’m so proud of you. I love you, Reborn. I love you so, so much.” He gave him a few kisses in the mouth before Reborn hummed into his lips and opened his mouth.

“Hmn, love you too. You aren’t an alpha, but you are so much better than one. You don’t limit yourself even if you’re a beta too, and I’m proud of you too. In fact, I’m so proud that you don’t depreciate yourself just because of that.” Reborn said into his mouth, slow as they made out.

Fon laughed and kissed him harder, heart swelling in happiness and love. Reborn bit his lips for laughing but was chuckling himself too.

“Sleep, babe. I’m sleepy.” Reborn nudged his forehead against Fon’s. “We can do other things when we wake up.”

Fon agreed, kissing his nose and eyelids. “Okay, sweet dreams, love.”

Reborn purred.

A/N: LAST DAY!!! THANK YOU TO THE MODS OF KHR RAREPAIR WEEK FOR THEIR HARD WORK AND THANKS TO YOU GUYS FOR READING MY STORIES

I missed a day for this year’s event, but still!! I managed to do 7!!! Which was beyond my expectation since I was ded because of finals, which clashed with the beginning of this event.

Onto the story! Basically Alphas and Omegas can make permanent mark on anyone else, while Beta can only do temporary ones. I just love the concept of nesting so when I saw Day 8’s theme I went bLING

I don’t like how some omegaverse stories I have written has this… thing with A and O being the rarest and then most treasured. I like it better if regardless of being A, O or B, everyone is of the same, equal and fair. Of course, some of the laws should cater more for A and O since they have ruts and heats but still? No discrimination.

Although, the discrepancy here is that most O and B still prefers A because, well, genes.

But that’s just the background I thought up of; there’s no need for that since all you need to know is that Reborn NESTED and Fon LOVED HIM.

Cranky Fon is lovely Fon :DDDD

anyways THANKS FOR READING AGAIN! HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOYED MY ENTRIES THIS YEAR!!! SEE YOU NEXT TIME

Day 7: Mist Day

Lying in his embrace was what he loved–along with the tender touches, the gentle stroke, the fond smile. Lying in his embrace was what he loved–along with the tender touches, the gentle stroke, the fond smile. Seeing him so relaxed as opposed to how he usually was in the office was so rewarding, that even the money he gave was no longer the main reason why Tsuna stayed. Tsuna stayed because he had fallen for him–his sugar dad.

Fon chuckled at the adoring gaze Tsuna gave him, thumb caressing his cheeks softly as he held him tight. “What’s wrong? Are you not tired?”

Tsuna nuzzled against the warm palm, humming. “I am, but I want to look at you a bit longer.”

Fon’s eyes turned to slit from smiling. “Why so sweet?” He asked without really wanting an answer. He leaned in and kissed Tsuna on the lips. “You did good today, what reward do you want?”

Tsuna’s mood fell a little at that, having to be reminded of their actual relationship. He was reminded of how he was just temporary–never forever. He could not be with him forever even if Tsuna desperately wanted to; that was what they had mentioned in the contract. That someday, they will separate and to never recognise each other ever again. Remembering that burned his heart, like a burning iron poking relentlessly in attempts to pierce through the glass that was his shield.

It hurt.

Tsuna shook his head. “No, I’m just doing what I am supposed to do so there’s no need for reward.” I do not need a reward; I just want you to look at me forever.

Fon raised an eyebrow. “This is the first time I see anyone rejecting a reward.” He stated bluntly. “But no matter, I will reward you still. Because I want to.” He added softly to cut off Tsuna’s protest. It was true that he wanted to reward Tsuna. The young man had helped him a lot, especially during the party.

Tsuna was a money launderer who was forced into this business by the environment he lived in. He had a talent for it–all the money he laundered always ended up cleaner than disinfected surfaces.

Fon found him one fine night where Tsuna fainted beside his car from hunger. He took him in and provided him shelter in a heartbeat, and employed him to be his sole, exclusive money launderer in another. Since then, Tsuna lived very well with stomach full and body warm; he no longer needs to overwork himself with double part-time + money laundering + university and can easily pay off his tuition fees.

He lived so well, that it felt like a dream to him.

A year after, their relationship escalated when Fon brought him to a gathering with other underworld leaders. Tsuna did not remember what happen, but he had helped the other fend off a lot of hungry ladies and young men by fiercely making out with the other. The consequence was another contract signed: Being Fon’s sugar baby.

It was wild, now that Tsuna thought of it, embarrassing even, but he did not regret any of his decision in the end.

Because ever since Fon saved him, he had always loved him.

Although, Fon was in the dark, of course.

Fon had brought Tsuna to a party the night before, one that was full with business men of good and bad. One particularly vulgar business man was trying to hit on Fon and had insulted Tsuna throughout. Fon almost jabbed him in the throat and pull out his tongue if not for Tsuna, in a calm manner, talked down the other. It was amazing to see how the skittish young man held his head high as he exposed the ugly man’s dirty laundries.

Fon was enamored.

Tsuna pouted, pulling at the duvet to cover the lower half of his face. “… Then I want the Salisbury steak you make.”

Fon chuckled as he ruffled the messy brown hair. “Of course.” He stood up from the bed as he kissed his forehead. “I’ll be right back.”

Tsuna flushed and buried himself deeper into the duvet. At the click of bedroom door shut, Tsuna knew he was alone in their bedroom. He sighed and slumped.

“I want… You to love me. Forever.” He whispered to thin air.

.

“The Bank of E, you say?” Reborn raised an eyebrow at Tsuna who had his eyes glued to the computer monitors as he typed furiously on the keyboard. “Yep.” The young man was chipping away through the said bank’s security system, planting unrecognizable codes in each of the originals. He was looking for something; one tiny important detail that he had overlooked for so long.

His presumably dead father’s account.

“What makes you think Iemitsu had the mind to keep his British account when he’s off the grid?”

Iemitsu had went into hiding for almost three years after leaving mafia, feigning his death for the freedom he wished for. His Don knew, but kept quiet for old friend’s sake. Tsuna knew, but it was none of his business to keep quiet.

Tsuna didn’t hate Iemitsu; he had a grudge with him. For what, only he knew the specifics.

“He had it under another name. Never used it for so many years it got frozen. Just enough for me to launder it over and back.”

Reborn raised an eyebrow. “Do you not think someone would realize?”

Tsuna finally looked up and gave him a deadpanned look. Reborn shrugged, hands raised. “Whatever fits your bill, I guess. Your laundry, your wash.”

Tsuna looked back at the screen.

He found the account. Looking at the last date of retrieval, it was his turn to raise an eyebrow. “Well, looks like that dead beat father of mine is making a comeback of some sort.”

He keyed in the amount of money and bitcoins, and entered.

“Not that it matters to me.”

.

“Exactly 19, 098, 232, 000£ has been transferred to the bank. In two days’ time, I will retrieve it and put it under investment for the upcoming projects.” Tsuna reported beside Fon’s table, putting the relevant documents on his desk as he skimmed through his own copy.

“10million USD has been transferred over to our sister branches about three days ago; they have been transferred back in batches of 5 since then. And the last 5billion has been written off as the company asset just this morning by the Ministries.”

Fon nodded, putting down the documents and smiled up at Tsuna. “Good job. This season’s work is done.”

Tsuna sighed in relief, rolling his stiff shoulders. “Thank you, sir.” Just as he was about to leave for the other to continue his work, he was pulled down by the wrist.

He sat down on Fon’s leg. “W-wha—”

Fon gave him a deep kiss.

“Reward.” He whispered into his mouth.

.

Because he no longer needed to do any laundering for the month, Tsuna went back to university and was immediately besieged by piles and piles of assignments. All were easy enough for him to do, but he liked none of them. In fact, they were very annoying theories and calculations, all which Reborn had taught him before. Child’s play, Reborn would say. Tsuna would say its just plain unreasonable because none of them would actually appear in real life.

Like some Math questions; who the fuck would buy 151 bananas just to give them away to 20 people and count how many unique combinations can be made by each unique banana.

Tsuna huffed, slumping onto the bench table as he poked at his laptop. He missed being by Fon’s side. He was happy that he finally had holiday from work after 3 months of cracking codes and stuffing money into different laundromats, but at least he was by Fon’s side almost every day. With him in university and Fon working, he could only see him every few days. It was just plain sad for him.

Perhaps he should ditch the afternoon class and give Fon a surprise…

His sixth sense suddenly noticed danger and started ringing, but he couldn’t even sit straight before he was knocked out into darkness.

.

Fon crushed the tea cup he was holding, murderous aura seeping through his being as he glared up the trembling subordinate of his. “Repeat.”

“S-sawada disappeared.”

“How did that happen? Did I not tell each and every one of you to watch over him carefully?”

The subordinate sweated profusely. “W-we… Got knocked out ourselves.”

Fon almost wanted to snap his head off. Reborn, who sat opposite of him smoking and drinking rice wine snorted. “Wow, I think it’s time for you to either retrain your subordinates or get new ones. I reckon you do the latter since I want to kill them off myself.” He picked up his phone and started tapping through his contacts. He looked as usual, but he, like Fon, was angered. Tsuna was Fon’s sugar baby, but Tsuna was his student first. The second and last he took in, one of his pride.

Whoever it was, they better pray that they hide well because once Reborn and Fon find them, they would pay a thousand times more.

Fon took the napkin from his secretary, I-Pin, and wiped his hands. He wasn’t even smiling anymore as he looked at Reborn. “Find him.” He said to I-Pin. “For every hour he is not found, snap on of these useless trash’s fingers off.”

The subordinate crumbled and knelt, started pleading desperately as I-Pin waved her hands and two other guys came in to drag the poor dude out.

“Yes, brother.”

“Wait.” Reborn interjected before I-Pin took off. They both turned and stare at him as Reborn sneered, almost crushing his phone. “It’s Iemitsu.”

Fon paused. “I thought he’s off the grid now.”

“Apparently not.” Reborn tossed him his phone where a picture was on screen.

A selfie of Iemitsu smiling at a sleeping Tsuna.

Fon sighed. “I-Pin, prepare some proper gifts.” I-Pin stifled a laugh. “Yes.”

Reborn smirked at him. “Time to meet the in-laws?”

Fon rolled his eyes. “Yes, time to meet the in-laws.” He smiled to himself as he touched his pocket where the ring box was.

.

Tsuna loved Fon, and Fon knew that all along. Tsuna never realized one thing: Fon loved him all the same and he wanted him to be more than just his sugar baby; he wanted him to be his forever, in Law, in Crime.

——————————–

A/N: I ended like that because I’ve no idea where I want it to go anymore aND I JUST WANT IT TO ENDAs tagged; Tsuna is a money launderer who did it for money to survive university, Fon is a boss of big corporate who needed a money launderer for both the corporate and his triad, and Reborn is Tsuna’s tutor who taught him how to launder.

Iemitsu is basically on the run for pissing off a shit ton of Famiglia in Italy and Europe, and because he resigned from Vongola so he no longer has any protection. When Tsuna used his bank account for money laundering, he finally found out what he was doing and decided to ‘kidnap’ his son to talk and get solace in Fon’s triad. That’s his baby tuna, dammit. The least his son-in-law could do is to protect his ass!

:3

What grudge Tsuna has against Iemitsu, I’ll leave that up to yall.

Day 5: Rain Day

Tsuna was a witch—a necromancer in his first mortal life. He didn’t know how he became one, but one day he became aware that he was one. One who steals from Death, one who forces the souls it reaps to work for him. And that was all he does.

Every life he went through, every reincarnation—he called upon the dead souls, and called upon Death. He was the unrest of the world.

AO3

“P-please,” The boy rasped. “S-save her. Just her, please don’t take her away too.” Death looked down at the boy expressionlessly, face half humane half bone. “It’s her time.” It whispered, ghastly and solemn, time ticking in the background like a countdown, like a reminder. “It’s both of yours.”

The boy sobbed, tears mixed with red as he coughed out blood, head bleeding all the same. He couldn’t move, couldn’t scream, only whisper. To the reaper of souls, to the one who looked far sadder than he who would soon die. He was unwilling, but he knew there was nothing he could do. Clutching on his sister’s hands, as cold as his, unmoving, pulseless. He could only resign to it—resign to fate.

He was unwilling, but seeing Death’s boney hand clutching against the scythe tightly, he relented.

“W-where will we go next, then?” The boy tried to smile, tried to relief Death’s sadness. Ah, how many has it seen, the pleads of those whose time were up? How many times had Death seen the rage, unwillingness, sorrow, fear? How many times had Death went through such events that even it felt such overwhelming sadness for humans?

The boy could only wonder as he felt his strength slipping, sleepiness and darkness slowly engulfing him. For a moment, he felt as though he was home with his sister beside him, safe.

“… Home,” Death said as it watched the child relented to eternal sleep’s grasp. “You both are going home.” It tilted the tip of the scythe down gently and reaped the souls, watching both the boy and girl, two glowing children, pulses and disappear to where they would reincarnate; to be siblings once more.

‘Thank you.’ They both whispered.

Death watched as they went, and it disappeared into thin air.

.

Tsuna was once a bird, a tree, a child, a father, a mother, a fish, a dragon. He was once a lot of creatures, and was once nothing. He was once air, and he was once the ground.

He was everything.

Tsuna never knew how he came to be, but he knew he was what he was. He was the universe itself. He remembered of vague changes, shifts, and stutters of the world. He experienced those changes, helped the build up of civilization, watched life came to be and left.

He remembered mostly of Death, at every step he took.

“My lord.” Tsuna opened his eyes, glowing orange as he looked at Death who stood by his bed, looming and blending into the darkness. He saw him all the same, as clear as daylight. He smiled.

“Welcome home.” He reached out and encircled his arms around Death.

.

The boy and girl had a long dream during their journey home. It was but a blur, but they saw; of their past, present and future. They remembered, of those they forgot. And they yearned, to see their home sooner.

Lambo and I-pin.

They wanted to see Tsuna.

.

Tsuna woke up again the next day in Death’s embrace. He didn’t mind, he loved it even. He smiled at the half humane half bone face, kissing the white skull and whispered a greeting. Death was never asleep, it remained awake even as Tsuna slumbered. The humane part of its face crinkled in silent delight at that as it let go of Tsuna.

Tsuna stretched, back arching as the blanket that covered his naked upper torso slipped down, letting Death sees every part that it knew oh so well. Tsuna stepped out of their bed and got dressed. He picked up the ring of Time on the desk and slipped it onto his right middle finger, playing with the chains around it.

“They are here.”

Tsuna smiled, relieved. His shoulders relaxed as he felt for the souls of his family, warm and burning in the ring. He could feel the youngest two were restless, all but wanting to see him again. He would, soon. He would get to them soon.

Not just yet.

“You would be the harbinger of blood in next life.” Death piped out from where it was.

Tsuna barked out a laugh. “When am I never, Death?” He teased. “I am your reflection, after all.”

It shook its head, walking over to caress Tsuna’s cheeks, feeling the warm radiating to its bones. “You may be my representation, but you are you. You are yourself; not me.”

Tsuna sighed, nuzzling against its hand. “I know.”

“… And I don’t think you are allowed to summon the dead souls next life.” Tsuna raised an eyebrow at that.

“Why not?”

Death’s lips were pursed, disgruntled yet resigned. “… Life reincarnated.”

Tsuna paused and stare at it.

“… It will be your tutor next life.”

“… Fuck.”

.

When Tsuna remembered, he was 34 and the Vongola Neo Primo of Vongola Famiglia. That night, he went to sleep drunk from the party of his 34th birthday, and he woke up with a splitting headache from the rum and gin the Varia and Reborn chugged down his throat.

And as he groaned, he remembered everything. Life fucked him up so badly this lifetime.

“Rise and shine, Dame-Tsuna!” Tsuna snapped his fingers and the shadows of undead shot straight towards Reborn. The hitman—Life—merely snorted at the weak attempt and squashed all of them, straight away sending them to reincarnation.

“Fuck you, Life.”

It rolled its eyes at Tsuna, grinning ferally. “Good morning to you too, Time. By the way, stop playing with those dead souls every time you remember. It’s so annoying.”

“My business.” Tsuna hissed. He shook the hangover gone and gathered the rest of the undead souls from every corner of the house. Soon, shadows and silhouettes of those once alive gathered in his room. He looked through each and one of them, pelting a few at Reborn who punt them into reincarnation, and breathed, keeping the rest in his indispensable space for those dead.

The pocket watch in him ticked. And stopped.

Life leaned back and started floating to the air like the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. It pouted, black obsidian eyes turning white as it stared right through Tsuna’s space.

“Why keep such untasteful bunch of souls? Why not just let them reincarnate and suffer in the mortal world?”

Tsuna knew that it was trying to make him let the souls go, but he wouldn’t. Not like he needed those souls, but he knew keeping them would piss Life off, which it deserved for throwing Tsuna all over around for almost two decades of his mortal life.

“Whatever that is you’re doing, it’s not working.” He huffed as he clenched his right fist. Opening it up, there sat on his palm was the ring of Time, sealed. He smiled and pull off the chain, and it glowed as Tsuna’s sealed powers returned to him.

“Worth a try.” Life muttered, too used to Time’s chaos that rip the balance of life and death apart just to keep Death in its track. “It took you long enough to wake this time.” During last lifetime, it remembered that Tsuna woke up the moment he was nine in mortal world.

Tsuna shrugged. Maybe because he overworked Death this lifetime, with the number of people he had to kill. Or maybe because he was just lazy, who knows. Time did not have such concept as long or short. It just knew when to continue or stop.

Tsuna blinked and his eyes turned bright orange. Standing by his side was Death, still half humane half bone. Tsuna smiled up to it and reached over. Death easily took him into its arm.

“I missed you.” Tsuna hummed, nuzzling.

Death whispered of the same as they kissed.

Life rolled its eyes at the two sappy being of unrest and disappeared off to its own beloved.

Tsuna soon pulled away and blinked cheekily at Death. “Time to start summoning to piss of Life.”

Death’s lips tugged up into a smile. “It is no longer disturbed by such moves.” Tsuna rolled his eyes. “I don’t care. I’m going to make it a bigger event this lifetime. Reborn screwed me inside out for almost two decades, I’m angry.”

Death stroked his fluffy hair and shook its head resignedly, letting Tsuna do as he liked. It didn’t matter anyway, because whatever Tsuna did would mean lessening its workload and it could spend more time with Tsuna.

“Whatever you are happy with, darling.”

.

Two years later, a zombie apocalypse happened.

Reborn almost shot Tsuna to death if not for Fon stopping him.

A/N: Death is Death! Tsuna is Time! Reborn is Life!

Yes this is Death/Tsuna + Reborn/Fon fic :3 although Reborn and Fon didn’t have much screen time uwu

First part is during their previous life before Vongola; Tsuna and the others left earlier than I-Pin and Lambo, who were last of them to leave the mortal world. Timeline’s a bit wonky, but ye. They are always the youngest. ALWAYS.

A bit of lore, which is Tsuna or Time was the first existence of the universe, but remained asleep when Death and Life appeared. Then somehow he woke up when civilization started, and forcefully wedged himself between the balance Death and Life created. He hated how Death has to go through all those sorrow when he reaps humans’ soul so he made it a goal to at least screw Life up once every time he reincarnated into a human. Which is a handful of time.

But yeah, Time Tsuna who is also a necromancer since he could just isolate-turn back time of the soul right after Death reap it and before it gets noticed by Life, and make it his minions or something. Always hits up Life’s workload :3

Anyways this is a sudden plunny that popped out so have a short impulsive story from me :D
