“Well, don’t you two look adorable.” Harrison mocks you and Tom as he takes a seat in one of the open lawn chairs.
You and Tom are sitting side by side in your own chairs while your legs are draped over his. There’s a small campfire burning in front of you while the cool summer air brushes across your skin. Tom’s hands are rested on your shins, his right thumb rubbing up and done slowly, subconsciously.
“What?” Tom chuckles, looking to you before looking across the fire to Harrison.
Okay first of all, the best friends to lovers with one person being oblivious as shit??? HELL YES. Fluff with a good old side of angst caused by dumbassery??? EVEN BETTER
Harrison being a meddling little shit?? I LOVED IT. I love how blatantly obvious he was trying to be with what he was saying and how tom was still like “Whatxha mean mate??”
Tom finally figuring his shit out because another guy stepped up and flirted?? I LOVE IT. I love that instant realization of “oh shit. I don’t like that guy talking to her. She’s mine and I kinda love my best friend moment.”

A/N:After putting this series on hiatus after 2 chapters and 4 years, I’m revamping it and finishing it!! While none of the Avengers are a main character, they came up sometimes so Endgame isn’t canon and no way home is mostly canon. Lemme know what y’all think!!
With the slam of a neighboring door, Peter’s eyes shoot open. He’s laid in his bed and only a few seconds pass before a sense of panic floods through him. In a swift motion, he reaches for his phone, ripping it from the charger, and sees he was supposed to be awake nearly twenty minutes ago.
He overslept. Again.
Peter shoots out of bed, annoyance consuming him as he frantically tries to get out of bed, tripping from the tangled blanket. His face nearly smacks the wood floor before he catches himself but there’s no time for a sigh as relief so he’s back to his feet in seconds, grabbing clean clothes and getting changed.
This has become somewhat of a normal experience. In high school, the whole balancing Spider-Man and school weren’t too difficult. High school was much easier but after entering college, he’s been slipping a little. More late nights as Spider-Man, patrolling and fighting crime, balancing late nights with friends, and late nights studying. His grades have been perfectly fine but his sleep schedule is an utter wreck and now he’s left constantly oversleeping and hoping he just manages to make it to class without being late.
