Some of the most fun and interesting horses I have ever had the opportunity to ride have been polo ponies. Capable, wily and intelligent little creatures with a lot of heart!

I feel like I haven’t posted art here in forever, so have a work in progress to keep you going! I love the ride-on giraffe idea way too much. Started this tonight and really enjoying it so got quite a bit done; it’s now 3am though so I should probably head to bed haha…got lots of spots still to fill in the next time I work on this!

Commission for the fantastic mooseings of her trainer’s horse, Cincinnati. I think you’ll agree she’s a beautiful mare! Gotta admit, I am really chuffed that I was able to do another commission for mooseings and that she chose my art to be a gift <3 I added a couple of detail shots, mainly because I am in love with that deep liquid eye (and partly because tumblr’s full view is useless :P).
