If you’ve noticed, our profile picture has been updated and this is what it is! It’s my first attempt at a mock cover using photoshop and InDesign. I’m still very new at it, but I think it’s not too bad for the first time. I’ll be learning more through out this month and I’m hoping to have a great look for our first issue!

Hey all! My apologies for the delay since my last update. October’s proven to be a pretty bonkers month for me. I’m participating in Inktober, participating in two shows here in KC, and preparing to open an online store at the end of the month! Decided to try using ballpoint pen in my sketchbook for the first time and was able to whip this out with no reference in about 5 minutes. The hawk is one of my favorite animal characters of all time and to this day one of the most realistic looking birds in an animated film.

Mao, (my other oc who loves playing Nintendo switch games) begged Clara to play animal crossing. Clara for a long time was like: no, I don’t play games, I do serious stuffs. Then Mao is like: but there’s a museummm ;D and from that point on she played it and favorited Blathers which was just like her (since she’s an archeologist major) she rarely smiles, but it made her happy :)
