#kincaid blackwood
Remember when I wrote that novel about how I wasn’t going to be posting anymore photos, only screenshots of my filmshorts? Uh yeeeaaaah, about that.
I was going through my image archive (and I have tens of thousands of photos) and it occurred to me – in the perspective of looking back at my work with fresh eyes – that there’s a lot of photography which I could be sharing with the tumblr-verse. Also, I have another blog which I maintain and it has about 8K followers. As compared to this one with under 2K. The difference is that I post on the other one daily, with posts going up hourly for over 12 hours a day. Of course it’ll grow bigger; I’m watering and feeding it more.
So I’ve decided to give it a try here. Mikey McMichaels posted about his experiment with posting hourly on tumblr over the past couple of years and it has done well for him. I like the perspective, especially since it’s worked on my other blog without me thinking about it.
Anyway, I’m back at it. Tomorrow will kick it off with hourly posts. Reaching way back into the Wayback as well as into recent work. Thanks for following.
