An homage piece to the coolest monster of all time.
Long live the King.
Based on the Stargate SG-1 franchise and it’s pilot episode/movie.
I really loved this series (and the movie that started it all).

“Dark Jedi”
From the time lapse video I posted a couple days ago.
Colors and whatnot to come.
A little homage to one of my favorite animated features.
Pictured are Master Yupa and his trusty mount.
It’s a mix of traditional line work and digital line work, with digital colors and finishes.
A little time lapse while drawing.
Since we can’t go out because of social distancing, and I’m essentially blocked from photography for the time being, I thought I’d belly of to the drafting table, and doodle out “Dark Jedi”.
Colors and whatnot to come.
A project from a couple of years back.
Sadly, after a hard drive failure, I lost a ton of work because I hadnt been diligently backing up as I should have been.
I take better precautions now, but the lost of a couple years worth of work was pretty devastating.

I went outside tonight with my Chocolate Lab, while she was conducting business I happened to look up into the sky and I was amazed at what I saw. This was a first for me, seeing a Red Moon. My husband did a quick research and it said that when the moon is hanging low the moon will reflect small particles of dust which will make it appear red. Anyone else see the red moon tonight?

I love the beginning of spring. We come out of hibernation during the Winter just to see how the world has been reborn. The iris is one of my favorites in my gardens. It’s like a jolt of coffee to nature.
