Write about a private, closed off character who’s past or secrets get revealed against their will
Character A going on a recon mission to the very same base (base can be andaoned or occupied) where they were experimented and tortured in.
Character A not telling the team about this bc they’re sure it’s not something they need to know.
Ervyhibg is going well until Character B discovers a file or video and decides to share it with the rest of the team.
Character A being somewhere else and returns to team when they’re halfway done reading/watching. Character A recognizing it right off the bat for what it is and feeling sick to the stomach.
Team being absolutely horrified by what they found and what character A had to go through.
Bonus points if you make character A really apprehensive of going on the recon but character b forces them and character b feels really shitty about themselves when they realize the file they found is about character a
More bonus points if it’s a video and they’re all watching on this bigish tv screen and character a walks in only to see their own mangled body getting strapped to a surgery table/their arms getting hoisted above their hand as whumper prepares their tools (whip, knife, tazer). Team only notices their presence when screen turns black and they see their reflection in the screen. Cue team turning around to see character a pale, shaken, with a glasses over look in their eyes as if they’re somewhere else.
