#knock offs

Okay, Originally this was going to be a video review, but I really needed to do some cleaning out in my lounge room, as my Hubby and I are in the process of rearranging the house. And when I found these dolls, I decided I needed to get rid of them.

So, I purchased these around three years ago, and these dolls were selling like crazy. I remembered when purchasing the large Anna and Elsa set, there was a lady purchasing this set also, and saying how nice the dolls were. IF ONLY THE POOR WOMAN KNEW!

Note the bad English, one saying “Magical Ice World” and “Lovely Shape.”

And here are photos of the giant Anna and Elsa set.

On the back says the following:

“HAPPY NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY!”

Thats how that paragraph ends, by the way.

Here I show a real Elsa with one of the knock offs. It looks like Kristoff here is wearing the spare dress!

The single doll is OK, I guess, but she seems to be an Anna and Elsa hybrid, as she seems to have Elsa’s clothes, but her hair is done in Anna’s hairstyle. Shown next to the real Elsa, the “Annalsa” is wearing clothing that is very poor quality - feeling it feels practically like paper. Glitter was coming off easily too.

The quality is even worse with the Anna and Elsa set. Again, the clothing feels terrible, with that horrid papery feeling. They don’t even fit properly.

And poor Olaf is shoddily painted.

As an added bonus - the dolls can make music. And when I say “Music,” I mean horrible, headache inducing noise.

An interesting thing to point out: Youtuber, Leokimvideo, did a review of these dolls you can view here. Note that they played a bad rendition of “Let it Go.” Mine played something even worse. 

Anyway, thats my two cents on a set of dolls I really wanted to get rid of, and now you can see why! I’ll finish off with my real Elsa doll with a rainbow, because rainbows are awesome.
