Thanks for all the people who still follow me I’ve lost a lot of followers and my latest posts have been failing very badly. More people liked the blue hairstyle than the black. I like the black hair more because I just think the blue eyebrows look too odd. I almost added some blue eyelashes but that didn’t work out either.

I want to work on a more detailed painting so I created this sketch. I hope I’ll have enough patience to finish it. Next I’ll be adding more shadows and after that I’ll figure out the color scheme. It’ll probably be pink with pink.

I haven’t been drawing much with my Cintiq (here’s an unfinished painting I created with it). I struggle to find good brushes for #clipstudiopaint and it makes me feel so clumsy. It’s also so much nicer to just grab my ipad and draw on the sofa or bed. Cintiq has some great features but lately I’ve been thinking that maybe I should just sell it.

This painting was nice to create since I love dark lipsticks so much I personally never use lipstick, it feels too awful and inconvenient. It’s a lot nicer to explore makeup looks in paintings.

Art improvement! The original painting is from 2017 and I remember how special I thought it was. I was just so happy with it. Now that I started to paint over it I realized how it perhaps wasn’t as visually captivating as I imagined. I’m just really glad I never gave up and I hope I can repaint this again in 2023.
