→Soyeon smiles into the camera effortlessly. “Hello, my name is Jung Soyeon and I am twenty years old.” The girl speaks with a pretty voice, her smile not wavering even once. “I’m on my way to becoming a singer.” she continues boldly. “I love music and always have - my grandmother inspired me to start and so I grew up singing.” There’s a certain spark in her eyes. “Please take care of me well.” She finishes with a bow; her smile still beaming. But as soon as the camera is out and her grandmother looks away, the smile quickly fades and the girl sighs.
Wʜʏ ᴀᴍ ɪ ʜᴇʀᴇ?
→ “I want to become a singer and be famous.” Soyeon starts, smiling again. “It’s my grandmother’s wish - but also mine.” The girl’s smile doesn’t look as bright as before and she brushes a strand of hair behind her ear. “Currently I’m a singer in a popular café around here.” With a charming expression - concealing how she actually feels - Soyeon continues talking about growing up surrounded by music until she bows a second time before the camera is turned off.
