I’m fascinated to know what is the bra size of your new editor - Lace Cups - can you spill?

Well it had to be asked I suppose. Loving your use of the word spill btw. I’d also like to thank the kindly gentleman who suggested I take the alias Momma Cup. Not going to happen.

Nonetheless, in the spirit of full disclosure I’m happy to reveal I’m a plumptious 40D. I’m still carrying plenty of baby weight and hoping that continuing to lactate - through altruistic milk donation - might shrink me back. But if I’m this size forever I’m sure I can live with it. Keep the questions coming, they really do make our blog.

Lace Cup, Editor-at-large, The Full Cup Bra

Wife, Mother and actual journalist (albeit in a freelance capacity post-partum) I’m delighted to join The Full Cup Bra. I’m so proud of everything the girls have done so far and want to reassure our readers I’m not looking to change the successful format. So expect pictures of beautiful bras and words to melt your heart. I’m a mum, so I hope I can bring some of my maternal, nurturing skills to the role. I’m also a proud feminist, so be sure our dedicated, if not always rigorous, equality agenda will continue.

Welcome to the Team

We are pleased to welcome our new editor, Lace Cup, who has offered to bring a degree of journalistic rigour to our mission. Lace - as she is happy to be called - will be assuming command with immediate effect, and has made a strong start by rooting out some lovely longline bra’s that Vanilla and I have the dubious honour of road testing. Lace is happily married with 2.4 children so can also bring a degree of personal insight to the sometimes opaque world of breastfeeding and maternity bras.

What do each of you like (and dislike) about wearing a bra

Like: I love the form and shape a good bra imposes. I suppose in a way it’s a form of bondage, but one I gracefully submit to day-in-day-out. With pregnancy I became more aware of the femininity that pretty lingerie plays with. I wore some thunderously unattractive maternity bras. So now I’m embracing gorgeous undies, albeit within the constraints of my fully functional boobs.

Dislike: Non-wired bras, because there really is nothing worse than your bosom sneaking out from beneath the cups. Of course underwire conflicts so much with my current tao as a milch madchen I’m liable to spontaneously combust from my own contradictions
