Welcome to the Team
We are pleased to welcome our new editor, Lace Cup, who has offered to bring a degree of journalistic rigour to our mission. Lace - as she is happy to be called - will be assuming command with immediate effect, and has made a strong start by rooting out some lovely longline bra’s that Vanilla and I have the dubious honour of road testing. Lace is happily married with 2.4 children so can also bring a degree of personal insight to the sometimes opaque world of breastfeeding and maternity bras.

What do each of you like (and dislike) about wearing a bra
Like: The lace. For as long as I can remember I’ve longed to wear lace undies. As my body started to develop - and my bust remained somewhat smaller than the standard British handful - I found consolation in the diaphanous materials of lingerie. It’s a matter of record I love my bralettes, but in truth it’s the lace that drives me.
Dislike: Buying the wrong size. Cups that are either too loose or bite into my humble little assets.

This pretty full cup design comes from Plaisir, a sub-brand of Danish lingerie house Ulsoe. With opaque white lower cups and a substantial lace upper cup, very little is revealed before the fabric continues its long march over our heroine’s shoulders in confident thick straps.

Well if this lady isn’t my alter ego I’m giving up and burning my b-cups. Leaving telltale hair in-shower, studiously avoiding the sun and having a temperament that’s measured by a pyrometer are attributes I will cheerfully own up to. I just wished I owned a pixie-green bra as pretty as this one.
