Man of Iron (1981). A few years after the events of Man of Marble (1977), a journalist investigates Mateusz Birkut’s son Maciek Tomczyk, now an activist leading a shipyard strike.

I didn’t realise this was a sequel until after I watched it, which probably explains a lot. That said, this was compelling more so as an insight into a movement and a moment in history than as a story or a character piece, and while it dragged in parts, it was still worth the watch because of that. 6/10.
