“Again My Life” (AgainMa): Lee Joon-gi meets Lee Soon-jae, god of real estate auctions; will he become his first student

Actor Lee Soon-jae is appearing as Woo Yong-soo, the so-called god of auctions, in today’s episode of Again My Life.

On April 15, the Again My Life team released new stills for Episode 3 showing Lee Joon-gi (Kim Hee-woo) and Lee Soon-jae (Woo Yong-soo), who are about to become student and teacher.

Though Lee Soon-jae appears to be a humble old man, he is actually a sharp veteran real estate expert and millionaire. In the stills, Lee Joon-gi seems to be going through some tough test of his real estate skills. They first meet at an auction house, and the contrast in the way they look at each other makes viewers curious.

On meeting Lee Soon-jae’s Woo Yong-soo for the first time, Lee Joon-gi’s Hee-woo looks anxious and stiff, not knowing what to do. Everything looks strange and new to Hee-woo who’s participating in an auction for the first time. On the other hand, Lee Soon-jae seems to try to size Hee-woo up, taking an interest in Hee-woo who’s eager and driven since the moment they first met. Lee Soon-jae looking intently at Lee Joon-gi oozes an aura as a living legend in real estate auctions, making their contrast even more dramatic.

The next still shows Lee Joon-gi looking disappointed as if he has just been rejected outright by Lee Soon-jae, suggesting tough beginnings for this aspiring real estate expert. Viewers are curious to see if Lee Joon-gi becomes the first student of the god of bidding Lee Soon-jae.

The AgainMa team said, “In Episode 3, Lee Joon-gi starts to get financially prepared to take down Jo Tae-seob. The first step is to approach Lee Soon-jae’s Woo Yong-soo to learn insights from him. Check out Episode 3 today (April 15) to see if they will become master and student.

Episode 3 of Again My Life is airing today (April 15) at 10 p.m. KST.

“Again My Life”: A turining point in Lee Joon-gi and Kim Ji-eun’s relationship

Lee Joon-gi and Kim Ji-eun will have a new turning point in their relationship.

Released on April 14, new stills of SBS’s Fri-Sat drama “Again My Life” show Lee Joon-gi’s Kim Hee-woo and Kim Ji-eun’s Kim Hee-ah on campus full of romance.

In the previous episode, Hee-woo became a university student following his return 15 years into the past and met Hee-ah for the first time. Hee-ah is a new person Hee-woo has never met in his previous life. Hee-ah never looks away from injustice and is a bit of a mystery, making viewers curious. Also, viewers are wondering what kind of an ally Hee-ah will be in Hee-woo’s fight against the evil.

In the new stills, Lee Joon-gi and Kim Ji-eun look like they have gotten closer with each other. Hee-ah seems to be expressing her feelings by handing Hee-woo a homemade lunch box. Hee-woo at first looks confused, but soon responds with a warm smile, making our hearts skip a beat. Just looking at the two will make you smile. They look young and fresh on campus on a spring day, leaving viewers wondering how their relationship will change.

The AgainMa team revealed, “There will be a new turning point in Hee-woo and Hee-ah’s relationship. Please watch the episode to see if Hee-woo and Hee-ah’s fate that seems to be undeniable can change their predestined futures.”

“AgainMa” (Again My Life) proves Lee Joon-gi is in a class of his own, gaining word-of-mouth momentum with ratings on the rise

“Again My Life” sees its ratings rise as Lee Joon-gi’s masterful performance helps the drama gain word-of-mouth momentum.

Premiered on April 8, SBS’s Fri-Sat drama “Again My Life” has emerged as a potential unexpected success in the competition of Fri-Sat dramas on the strength of positive feedback from viewers.

Episode 2, in particular, scored a peak rating of 8.6% (Nielsen Korea). Also, among the dramas that premiered this past week, the actor [Lee Joon-gi] himself topped the most buzzworthy drama actor rankings for the first week of April, while the drama came in second place in the most buzzworthy TV dramas (Good Data Corporation), showing that it is the most talked-about drama.

Now, let us take a look at the reasons “AgainMa” successfully hooked viewers with its premiere getting off to an impressive start:

# Lee Joon-gi lives up to his “Trustworthy” reputation

Masterful performance ranging from passionate prosecutor to college student 15 years into the past

From his first appearance onwards, Lee Joon-gi dominated the whole 60-minute first episode of “AgainMa” and fascinated viewers instantly, leading some to call “AgainMa” a “Joongi Genre (drama).” Lee Joon-gi’s commitment shows in his performance that spans 15 years, from Hee-woo’s first life as a passionate prosecutor to his second life as a college student. In it, Lee Joon-gi wears this character like a second skin, and his commitment has generated positive feedback among viewers, such as “He can even portray [the process of] aging.”

Lee has vividly portrayed a wide range of emotions in the character, from calm and detachment in Hee-woo despite having suffered an unjust death in his first life, to tears of relief in Hee-woo when he has earned the last chance to save his parents, and to determination in Hee-woo, in his second chance at life, to punish his evil archenemy. He has also delivered catharsis through his charismatic action performance, dominating the drama as its pivot.

# Fates that Lee Joon-gi has changed

Leveling up and taking on a quest: To destroy the inner circle of evil

What particularly has viewers hooked on “AgainMa” is that viewers vicariously experience catharsis through this “munchkin” character who is perfect in every way. Having already lived 15 years before anyone else, Lee Joon-gi’s Hee-woo draws on his memories and knowledge from the past. That’s why viewers find it cathartic and engrossing to watch Hee-woo gaining all the necessary skills and taking on a quest to destroy the inner circle of evil.

Lee Joon-gi has changed the fates of his parents, who passed away in his first life, as well as those of Kim Han-mi and Kim Gyu-ri by saving them from their crises. He then sets out to design a new life as he meets Kim Hee-ah and Lee Min-soo he has never met before. With them, he is about to team up as “fated partners” and lay the groundwork for his revenge plan.

Viewers have responded enthusiastically: “It’s getting even more interesting as he gets to meet new people he’s never seen before,” “Can’t wait for next week’s episodes to see whose fates he’s going to change,” “It feels like playing a first person RPG game,” and “The fun is in watching him building connections and skills following his return to the past. The way he is evolving just feels different.”

# Clearly Delineated Good versus Bad, fast pace, and catharsis: Entertainment for all generations

“AgainMa” has a clearly delineated good-versus-bad plot as it is about a competent and passionate prosecutor’s path of revenge after getting a second chance at life. It has an easy-to-follow, simple, and cathartic plot that shows passionate prosecutor Kim Hee-woo taking down the gigantic force of evil Jo Tae-seob, the center of the pyramid of power and corruption, and showing what “winning justice” looks like.

As Hee-woo starts his second life after getting killed by Jo’s henchman Dr. K and traveling back 15 years into the past, the fast-paced scenes kept the viewers glued to their screens.

Above all, nothing about the story feels frustrating or dragged out. Viewers also responded, “I love it because it doesn’t have any of the usual frustration or suffering.” Viewers are hopeful as Kim Hee-woo is set to deliver on his dynamic and cathartic journey even beyond defeating the greatest evil.

“AgainMa” airs every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m.

“Again My Life” (AgainMa) peaks at 8.6% with ratings on the rise, as Lee Joon-gi begins changing people’s fates.

Lee Joon-gi has taken his first step in designing a new life that’s different from his first life by drawing on his experience of having already lived those 15 years.

Aired on April 9, Episode 2 of Again My Life kept viewers interested as Kim Hee-woo (Lee Joon-gi) has begun his second life after having gone back to 15 years ago. The episode averaged 6.8% in Seoul and 6.4% nationwide, peaking at 8.6%. It represents a 0.9% increase from Episode 1, building word-of-mouth momentum. Among the viewers aged between 20 and 49, Episode 2 averaged 2.5%, also indicating a rising momentum. (Nielsen Korea)

In the latest episode, Kim Hee-woo uses his previous life experience to change the fates of his parents as well as Kim Han-mi and Kim Gyu-ri he went to the same high school with. In particular, due to the changes made to this ‘future,’ Hee-woo learned who was responsible for the hit-and-run that killed Hee-woo’s parents in his first life: Jo Hyeon-seok, the son of Jo Tae-sup.

To viewers’ surprise, Hee-woo finds that last missing puzzle piece he couldn’t find in the previous life as he learns Jo Tae-sup was behind the manipulations and concealments of all accidents and records. Ever since a long time ago, Hee-woo and Jo were meant to be enemies. This time, Hee-woo gets to save his parents, whereas Jo Tae-sup inadvertently has lost his son. How Jo’s own fate will change because of Kim Hee-woo remains to be seen.

He isn’t the only other person whose fate has changed because of Hee-woo. Previously, Hee-woo was a victim of school violence, forced to bring school bullies cigarettes. Now, after consistent physical training and workouts, Hee-woo gets to teach those bullies a lesson in cathartic action scenes. He also saves Kim Han-mi, who becomes a victim of the bullies’ spy cam crime. He goes on to save Kim Gyu-ri, who’s lying unconscious on the ground due to stimulant side effects. One unpredictable turn of events after another kept the viewers interested. Now that Hee-woo has changed Han-mi and Gyu-ri’s fates by preventing tragedies from happening to them, viewers are curious how their lives will change.

Hee-woo also has another new start as he becomes a law student at Hankuk University, where he is about to lay the groundwork for his revenge plans against Jo Tae-sup and his inner circle of evil. There he meets Kim Hee-ah and Lee Min-soo, whom he never met in his previous life. These are new people Hee-woo gets to meet because of the changes that have been made to his past. Lee Min-soo approaches Hee-woo, showing interest in him and saying, “Looks like you are the only person that can compete with me.” It will be interesting to see what roles these two people will play in Hee-woo’s second life.

Towards the end of the episode, Hee-woo meets the members of Jo Tae-sup’s inner circle, Jung Il-hyun and Choi Gang-jin, at a welcome party for law school freshmen, leaving viewers wondering what kind of relationships they will have. Also, late at night, on his way home, Hee-woo finds a mysterious guy stalking him, who turns out to be Dr K.

Again My Life is a revenge drama about a passionate prosecutor who gets a second chance at life. It airs every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m.

3 things to look out for in “Again My Life” (AgainMa) a.k.a “Cider-buster” (cathartic blockbuster): #Perfectness #Uniqueness #Catharsis

SBS’s “Again My Life” is finally unveiled today (April 8) at 10 p.m.

SBS’s upcoming Fri-Sat “Again My Life” (“AgainMa”) is premiering today on April 8 amid a great deal of attention. In “AgainMa,” a revenge drama about a passionate prosecutor who sets out to bring evil to justice, Lee Joon-gi is expected to deliver a cathartic fight for justice and against corruption as prosecutor Kim Hee-woo who travels 15 years back in time. He is joined by Lee Kyung-young, Kim Ji-eun, Jung Sang-hoon, Kim Jae-kyung, Hong Bi-ra, Ji Chan, and veteran Lee Soon-jae, presenting a “cider-buster” and bringing catharsis to a whole new level. With the first episode about to air, here are a few things to look out for in “AgainMa”:

#1. Trustworthy actor you can count on! Lee Joon-gi’s “perfect” charm in a comeback drama perfect for him

Anticipation for “AgainMa” has already been soaring among the fans because this is a new project from Lee Joon-gi, who has perfectly pulled off both action and emotional performances. Lee Joon-gi is expected to live up to his signature “blood sweat tears” reputation by taking his acting to an even higher level. Earlier, Lee Joon-gi revealed, “I found the subject of AgainMa interesting and I was drawn to the story. In particular, I found it even more interesting as I started thinking it would be fun if I integrated things I love and things I am good at into this Kim Hee-woo character. I think I was destined to meet this character at this particular point [in my career].” Playing a prosecutor who gets a second chance at life, the kind of character anyone would have dreamed of, and showing this “perfect” charm in Lee Joon-gi that viewers have wanted to see, the actor promises to bring people entertainment in various ways. Lee Joon-gi also said, “AgainMa is a drama that is not difficult to follow or that resorts to sensationalism. It is easy to follow, and I think you can enjoy it and have fun watching it. I hope it’s going to be a fun gift for you that can relieve a bit of the stress viewers have.

#2. Transformative acting by Kim Ji-eun, Jung Sang-hoon, and Kim Jae-kyung! Chemistry among characters you have never even imagined

The cast led by Lee Joon-gi, including Kim Ji-eun, Jung Sang-hoon, and Kim Jae-kyung, will bring "AgainMa” to perfection. We cannot not talk about the five partners Kim Hee-woo is destined to meet as he starts designing new plans to get his revenge and achieve justice. Rising star Kim Ji-eun is continuing her success as Kim Hee-ah, who is a chaebol heir refusing to live a sheltered life and, as competent as Kim Hee-woo, joining him as an ally in his fight against evil. Jung Sang-hoon, a guy like a wild beat keeping his claws hidden, is also expected to give a transformative performance. Joining forces are Kim Jae-kyung as Kim Han-mi, Hong Bi-ra as Kim Gyu-ri, and Ji Chan as Park Sang-man. They already make an interesting ensemble, and their chemistry is another thing to look out for. Also raising our expectations are such seasoned veterans as Lee Kyung-young as the evil Jo Tae-sup, Choi Kwang-il as Kim Seok-hoon, Kim Hyung-mook as Jung Il-hyeon, Hyun Woo-sung as Dr. K, and Lee Soon-jae as Woo Yong-soo, Lee Joon-gi’s real estate teacher.

#3. Thrilling and cathartic time travel!

“AgainMa” tells the story of a prosecutor who sets out to complete his journey of revenge he wasn’t able to in his previous life. In so doing, he designs meticulous plans and destroys the evil, step by step, using the knowledge he’s brought back intact after he gets killed during his corruption investigation and then time-travels to his 20s. At the heart of the “AgainMa” narrative is this prosecutor’s journey of achieving justice in his second life after coming back to life from the dead and traveling back in time. As suggested by the drama’s slogan, “Fight the power with power, stand up for the weak: the only one truly on our side,” Kim Hee-woo grows and evolves, more persistent and stronger than the evil. With our perfectly competent prosecutor setting out to destroy the inner circle of evil, the drama is expected to deliver thrill and catharsis. After mastering multiple skills from law, politics, to real estate, Kim Hee-woo starts to change the course of his own future so his journey will be an unpredictable story. The drama will also keep surprising viewers with twists and intriguing turns of events. Once you enter this “cider-buster” world, there is no way out. It is about to take the small screen by storm.

“Again My Life” is premiering today (April 8) at 10 p.m. KST.

“Again My Life” (“AgainMa”): Undoubtedly reliable actor Lee Joon-gi breaks down in tears while eating in heartbreaking scene

In SBS’s “Again My Life,” Lee Joon-gi breaks down in tears while eating, overwhelmed with sadness. The stills make us curious what has happened to him.

In SBS’s Fri-Sat drama “Again My Life,” premiering tomorrow at 10 p.m., Lee Joon-gi plays passionate prosecutor Kim Hee-woo, who never compromises on law and justice. The actor is expected to show he deserves his reputation as ‘trustworthy actor’ with his acting skills in both tough action and delicate emotional performances. Hee-woo is about to draw on his experience of having lived once and design meticulous and perfect plans to finish the job he wasn’t able to: to punish the evil and eradicate corruption.

But the new stills, released by the AgainMa team on April 7, show Lee Joon-gi’s relentless go-getter Hee-woo breaking down in tears, emotionally overwhelmed, while eating, piquing our curiosity. In the stills, Lee Joon-gi is reading a mysterious note on top of the table prepared with so much care just for him. He tries to eat, but soon tears start rolling down, leaving him crying uncontrollably. Seeing him crying so sadly makes him look even more pitiful.

This is an important scene where those waves of feelings of pain and sadness wash all over Kim Hee-woo, who’s tried to suppressed those emotions. Lee Joon-gi kept that bright laughter off his face, even starting at the rehearsals, so he could get the feelings right and stay thoroughly focused as Kim Hee-woo. With his raw, visceral expression of those feelings that culminate in crying, Lee Joon-gi reportedly left the entire set in a solemn mood.

We wonder what happened to a tear-streaked Lee Joon-gi, and why Lee Joon-gi started crying while going through such turbulent and confusing moments of his life.

Meanwhile, SBS’s Fri-Sat drama “Again My Life” is a revenge drama about a passionate prosecutor who gets a second chance to punish the greatest evil. It is premiering on April 8 (Friday) at 10 p.m. KST.
