Rosine, Kentucky is famous because Bill Monroe, the Father of Bluegrass Music, was born and is memorialized there. Every Friday night from March to December, musicians and listeners come to the Barn and have a great time - for free!

St. Boniface Church - Uniontown, Washington Uniontown became a settlement of German and Swiss immigrants - wheat farmers - from Minnesota in 1873. Construction began in 1893 and was completed in 1905. It was the first consecrated Catholic church in Washington State and remains open during daylight hours and holds regular weekly services.
