I can’t believe I’ve made it this far in life without having visited London before. Now, I can say that I’ve finally seen this truly amazing city. One of the most impressive I’ve ever seen. So much more to discover, of course! I know I’ve barely scratched the surface. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Here are two photographs made during my last trip to Sweden. One was made using my Leica. Afterwards, I thought it’d be a nice idea to shoot the landscape in panorama mode. SWEDEN. Ystad. 2016

“Sisters” - They say that no one can make you laugh like a sibling. Yesterday provided some additional proof as I witnessed Fabiola and my sister-in-law, Cathy, make each other laugh like you wouldn’t believe.

I photographed this scene recently on a nice day spent along Lac Léman in Switzerland. The day was especially pleasant because it was one of the first days that we’ve experienced some truly pleasant weather. In Switzerland, sunshine is something that we deeply appreciate as the weather can be highly unpredictable. Coming from California, I admit that I’ve often taken those abundant sunny days for granted. I’ve never thought so much about the changing seasons until I moved to Europe. It’s always nice to see how people come together lakeside once the sun is out.

After a bit of local sightseeing in Loreto Aprutino, Fabiola, my mother-in-law Laura, and I caught up with the majority of the family. Like our family in Celano, it was a great pleasure reconnecting with everyone. Our time together was filled with love, infectious laughter, good food, and an abundance of wine around the table. We also managed to catch up with two friends that are originally from Italy, but now living in Sweden. They were on holiday visiting their family, and they graciously took time out to see us before they head back. Thanks again to the D'Attilio, and Carota family for such a wonderful time!
