What I wouldn’t give to know the thoughts running through her head right now lol. Just saying…I would read the hell out of a one-shot of this chapter and the last from Katie’s batshit crazy POV lol
Oh, Katie. That loon. I don’t know if I’ll ever write anything from her POV. I know her little plans and she might open up a little later. She is acting her ass off though, Leo’s right about that.

He did! I think toward the end of that marriage right before he left, Leo was wallowing and feeling sorry for himself. He kind of excused what he was doing, and he needed to stop that.
I love this so much. I have a blanket that I always travel with, even though I am a gross-ass person. It feels good to have a small piece of home. I love Liam even more for making sure Leo had it.
I love that! I have a pillow I bring when I travel, I totally understand!
Liam is so thoughtful. As much as Leo wasn’t happy in Cordonia or with being the heir, that blanket still means a lot to him.
I do agree with her there. Katie might be the worst, but she’s already reaping what she’s sowed. Plus, ignoring her existence is probably a worse punishment to Katie than hating her
Riley sees it as Katie has little effect on her life so far. Leo’s in the middle of divorcing her, Riley knows the important details, and that’s it. Katie definitely hates being ignored, and Riley’s choosing the right way to react.
Okay, I am glad he said this because the weight of his actions doesn’t rest on Riley’s shoulders. Yes, she opened his eyes more, but the choice to leave was his own.
So much this. When he told Riley he was getting divorced, he handled that conversation horribly. He needed to say that because it is definitely not on Riley. Leo chose to leave.
10000% agree with this. I think that would have held true for all of the ROE Main LIs, but especially Leo. He saw a way out with Katie and dive in without thinking the situation through.
YES!! It always makes zero sense to me that Leo is so ready to marry Katie so soon. He was miserable and she was the answer to him getting the hell out of Cordonia. I need to play the other LI’s routes again because I swear, she’s the meanest to Leo.

You surprise me. The genuine affection Leo and Riley have for each other is pulling them through this rough patch. I didn’t expect it to go that way, but it’s nice.

I couldn’t see Leo getting too upset about Riley knowing Katie. They’ve had a week’s worth of phone calls and I feel like they’d be in a better place than when he left. They talked out a lot of things that needed to be addressed and that’s only going to help them going forward.
I wanted angst, but I couldn’t see Leo getting angry about the whole thing.

It’s not true. She gave him an out and led him to believe it was going to be different with her. She didn’t give him the life he wanted.

I always feel this way about the RoE MC. She’s completely different in the last book then the other three, and I’m usually wondering if she even likes Leo. Because he might have seen her as an out, but she saw him as a way to get that inheritance too.

Ok but this is so sad that he felt he deserved this unhappy life with Katie as some sort of punishment for abdicating and leaving Liam with the responsibility of the crown. No, Leo
I feel so bad for him. Katie became this different person, and he was just like, “it’s what I get for being an asshole.” Even though he did try to help Liam and he wanted it to work with Katie. Poor Leo.
