I wanted to share with you all a small update on a story that I shared with you some weeks ago.
After I got that letter a few weeks ago about my head covering from the licencing office. As previously mentioned I needed to prove my headgear was religiously designated before they would issue me a driver’s license picture with my hijab on.
Well that same day that I received that letter (that I previously shared) I marched myself back into the licensing office and had to prove myself a Muslimah. Lol it was funny actually because the lady I spoke to had zero knowledge of Islam. But anyways, I had to prove that my head covering was religiously motivated.
Well here’s the update, they as you can see by the picture that they have given me a valid drivers licence with my head scarf on. Alhamdulilah (all praise be to God).
I stuck with my deen (faith) and would not let them shake me. Alhamdulilah alhamdulilah. I want to know when you stand firm with what you believe. You can accomplish what seems like impossible.
Most of all I am grateful to Allah (God) for giving me this beautiful faith and the strength to continue… even when it’s tough and I feel challenged by man. Allahu Akbar ( God is the greatest) I am forever grateful for this beautiful gift of Islam. I am willing to accept any challenge thrown at me by Allah gladly as Islam has definitely been more than a blessing for my life.
