How do booktubers read so many books in a month???
If I finish one a month I’m proud of myself. It’s a process of reading. Setting the book down to stare at the ceiling. Crying and smiling while saying “It’s so damn brilliant”
Or putting the book down and staring at the camera like I’m in the office because its so irritating.
Then there’s the two week period of book hangover when you can stop thinking about how brilliant this author is for making you feel things again.
I have to collect my thoughts and then write my opinion to sort out how I actually feel about it (welcome to this blog)
You know this has bothered me since I read Magi 290. But when Alibaba was telling Kougyoku what happened to him and Judar, Kougyoku did not AT ANY ONE STAGE mention or ask about Judar’s well-being. This struck me as odd considering Kougyoku and Judar’s close relationship (I mean look at all those JuKou-centric tegaki/omake chapters). Shouldn’t she be concerned about what happened to her (only) childhood friend? I thought she would have at least asked Alibaba where Judar was?
(See!!! She doesn’t ask about him at all!!! The JuKou fangirl in me was super disappointed /cries)
Anyway, from that panel in the middle left, it’s quite clear that Kougyoku knows something about Aladdin, Morgiana, and Hakuryuu’s disappearance. Coupled with the fact that she didn’t seem too surprised that Judar is still alive, it’s most likely that Judar paid her a visit soon after he left Yunan and Alibaba. So did Kougyoku tell Judar where to find Hakuryuu? Is Judar with Hakuryuu now? The 299 spoilers seem to suggest that there are 3 other people with Aladdin… but… those silhouettes sure don’t look very Hakuryuu-ish (maybe the rightmost one) or Judar-ish.
I hope this will all be revealed in the omake chapter of vol 29 where Judar writes a farewell letter to Alibaba… It’s just killing me that Judar hasn’t made his reappearance yet… grrrrrr.
Also, the omake chapter seems to suggest that Judar might be up for a wardrobe change fufufufu~ Will he still have his puffy braids? The suspense!! I cannot!!
