Janice’s basement warming. I can’t get over how funny “basement warming” sounds. It was incredible to hang out with them again after so long. We don’t have a lot of opportunities, except for special occasions like birthdays where we are all together in one group. I’ve realized that this is the stage of life that we’re entering now. It makes sense because some of us are still in school, some of us are working and all of us are thinking about the future. 

I haven’t even seen Christine since my birthday (8 months ago), which is crazy because that’s basically a full school year. We’re all in transition right now and it feels like life is passing by so quickly. I have shared so many special memories with each person and I can only be thankful for that. It’s definitely a bittersweet feeling though because these moments will only become more rare as life continues to get more busy. That’s just the reality of it. I really do treasure these opportunities.
