summary: you are a famous singer and chris’s girlfriend. you are in the middle of a world tour and decided to surprise chris and attend the lightyear hollywood movie premiere with him.

You were in the middle of a world tour in your hotel room when you had received a video on your cell phone from Chris’s manager.

It was a video of Chris doing an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

“Now, for this movie premiere, will your girlfriend be coming to the premiere?” Jimmy asked Chris.

“No, unfortunately not. She is not able to make it to this premiere. She is currently on tour right now.” Chris replied sadly, which broke your heart.

“For those who do not know, and if you don’t know, you are living under a rock. You are dating the phenomenal, talented (Y/N) (Y/L/N).” The audience clapped and cheered at the mention of your name, which brought a smile to Chris’s face.

“How long have the two of you been together?”

“Next month is our four-year anniversary.” The audience cheered and clapped.

“Four years together. Do the two of you have anything planned for your anniversary?”

“Next month, I’ll be finishing doing press, and she will be finishing her tour. We will be going on a long-deserved vacation.”

“Have you been able to attend any of her shows during the tour?”

“I have attended a few shows when I could. My family definitely attended her east coast shows, especially in Boston.”

“How long has it been since you last saw her?”

“It’s been almost a month since I physically saw her in person. We talk, text, and facetime every day. But it is not the same as physically being together in one room. But we both have been extremely busy, her more than me. She is finishing up this nine-month worldwide tour, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. Her show is absolutely out of this world, and those who attend her shows will be amazed. But, yeah, I definitely miss her a lot, and she wishes that she could be here for this premiere and me as well, but work is work, and this is the life we live.” Chris shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. However, you knew that he was really upset.

After watching that video, you decided to attend the premiere. You had two days off before your next show which originally was for rehearsals. You had called your manager and assistant, who were able to book the last-minute flight.

You had only told Chris’s manager that you were coming to the movie premiere and wanted to surprise Chris.

After flying into California and arriving at Chris’s hotel, you had entered the hotel through the back so no one could spot you.

Chris’s manager was able to get you an extra key to his hotel room. You had impatiently and quietly entered Chris’s hotel room, where you saw his family sitting in the living room.

Lisa was the first person to spot you. She gasped in shock, making everyone look over at you and have the same reaction.

You politely shushed him before they all made noises that would ruin the surprise.

You quickly hugged everyone and asked where Chris was. They had responded that he was in the bedroom.

You had walked towards the bedroom where the family was following you so they could see Chris’s reaction to your arrival.

You saw that his bedroom door was open. You took a peek into the room and saw Chris sitting on the side of the bed with his back facing you. He had his cell phone to his ear, making a phone call.

“Hey, babe, this is the third time I’m trying to call you for the morning. I wanted to talk to you before the premiere. But it seems like you’re busy. I’ll call you back later. I love you.” Chris left a voicemail and hung up.

Your cell phone was on do not disturb mode. You didn’t know that Chris had been trying to contact you.

“Why isn’t she picking up the phone?” Chris had mumbled to himself.

“That is because she took a last-minute flight to surprise her boyfriend.” You spoke as you entered the bedroom, shocking the hell out of your boyfriend.

Chris had turned around, and you could see the mixed emotions on his face. You had instantly met him on the bed. Chris had immediately pulled you into a tight hug.

“Babe, you’re here. How?” He had mumbled into your neck while kissing it multiple times.

“Your manager had sent me a video of you on Kimmel talking about me, and I made the last-minute decision to fly here to be with you.” You pulled away from the hug to look at Chris.

“Remind me to give them a raise.” Chris spoke, making you laugh.

“What about your tour? When do you have to leave?”

“I have two days off before I go back.”

“You left your tour so you can be here with me?” Chris questioned, still in shock that you were there with him.

“Of course, baby. I love you, and I want to be here for you.” You spoke, making Chris teary-eyed.

“I love you so much. I missed you.” Chris responded with so much emotion in his voice.

“I missed you, baby.” You kissed Chris, and Scott had managed to take a picture of the sweet moment.

Not long after reuniting, you and Chris were getting ready for the movie premiere.

Your fashion stylist had reached out to Chris’s stylist and managed to pull together a last-minute outfit that matched Chris’s outfit.

You were wearing a solid sleeveless slim tank with a straight-leg pantsuit. You wore nude pumps, a hat, and a clutch to match and wore gold jewelry.

You and Chris had arrived at the Hollywood premiere hand-in-hand. He didn’t want to let go of you, and neither did you.

The crowd, media, and paparazzi went ballistic seeing the two of you together.

The two of you had taken photos together, with his family, and separately which Chris absolutely hated.

For his interviews, he didn’t want you to leave his side. He kept you near him throughout his many interviews.

“Chris, how does it feel to have your girlfriend by your side today for this premiere?” An interviewer had asked Chris.

“It is exciting. She originally wasn’t gonna make it because of her tour, and she completely surprised me by flying in a few hours ago.” Chris smiled.

“You flew in this morning?” The interviewer asked you.

“Yeah, I arrived this morning and was able to surprise my boyfriend on his big day.”

“I love these color-coordinated outfits. It gives very relationship goals.” You and Chris both laugh.

“All last minute.”

The interviewer was asking Chris questions until he hit him with the last question about Chris’s mustache for his upcoming movie “The Gray Man.”

“Alright, what do you prefer? Mustache or no mustache? Be honest. Be honest.” Chris’s response made you laugh, capturing the media’s attention.

The interviewer answered the question before asking you the same thing.

“(Y/N), mustache or no mustache?” Chris had looked at you, wanting to know your answer.

“I don’t really have a preference when it comes to Chris. He looks handsome either way. However, I am really loving this beard here.” You winked at Chris, making him blush.

Chris couldn’t help but kiss you.

After the interviews were over, you and Chris began to make your way into the El Capitan Theatre.

“Babe, I love you so much. Thank you for coming out here to support me.” Chris had looked over at you and smiled.

“To infinity and beyond, baby.” You spoke before kissing him.

I may or may not have pulled over in a parking lot after picking up my nephew to watch Chris Evans puppy interview. My son just looked at me and shook his head and my nephew was just confused.
