Just got back from the 7th annual Feminist Porn Awards, and I can honestly say it could not have been more inspiring!

Thursday night I drove into Toronto from NY, and missed the screening, but went to the after party for a bit, hosted by Drew Deveaux and Lexi Tronic (both fabulous ladies). It was hot and steamy on the dance floor, I was totally exhausted, got drunk, and went back to the hotel to pass out before the shoot in the morning. I woke up to a beautiful breakfast in bed, then headed to the shoot. 

Lexi and her ridiculously tiny dog were cool enough to host the shoot in their amazing apartment. Charlie Spats and James Darling filmed Arabelle Raphael and I banging on the kitchen table and leopard couch for Good Dyke Porn, which will be available for everyone soon I’m sure :) After shooting we hung out for a bit, had some drinks and snacks, then it was time to get ready for the big night!

There was an indescribably happy vibe inside the FPA gala from the start. It was great seeing people I hadn’t seen in months, and catching up, plus meeting some new people who have inspired me for so long! Finally meeting Courtney Trouble was super exciting, and I can’t wait to work with her this year <3

The awards began, and the first award, for Best Lesbian Vignette, went to Boutique by Juicy Pink Box! So happy for them! Especially for Jett Bleu, who is a dear friend, and the one who really helped me to get into this business. 

It was surprisingly emotional to see everyone awarded and appreciated for all the important work they have produced this year. James Darling, in particular, who won heartthrob of the year. Such an impressive dude, and it was so great working with him earlier that day. Really inspired me to want to do my best in this industry, to say the least.

Anyway, have to get back to the day job, so I came home early and am missing the Switch party tonight! So I wish all the performers luck and hope it’s a fabulous time! I definitely have some serious porno viewing to do at home as well, gotta catch up on lots of the winning films that I haven’t seen yet!

So happy to be home, after such an eventful week! 

I traveled 6 thousand miles, roundtrip, to film a scene with Lily Cade for Filly Films. It was absolutely worth it, though!

I went from Columbus, to Buffalo, to NYC, to Los Angeles. Lily Cade kindly picked me up at the airport and let me stay on her couch. Lily was so great! An excellent host and such a chill director to work with. The day of the shoot we went to the Filly Films office, where I met the head of the company, who was also wonderful, and nice enough to give me a tour of his warehouse full of porno :)

We filmed in Silverlake, in a beautiful house, with the perfect view. The scene we were filming was a bathroom threesome between Proxy Paige, Lily Cade, and myself. This was my first porno threesome, but I think it went well! I hope you all enjoy when it hits DVD ;)

After filming, and In N Out burger (which I’ve been craving for 5 years since I moved away) I headed back to the airport, for another long journey home. I had a great long-little trip to the West Coast, and can’t wait to be back in March! I also hope to work with Filly Films again, they have a great staff!

Now that I’m home, back to photo shoots, booking, and the gym! 

I shot a scene for Lily Cade/Filly Films’ lesbian prison movie today! It’s going to be a really good one!
