Both Mono and Six fall, the tower is only interested in keeping Mono there and Six will be absorbed by the flesh wall, except here Mono hasn’t been betrayed so his protectiveness of Six still remains. He uses his powers to keep six safe while the tower slowly warps them. Six is both being protected and trapped in constant danger thanks to Mono’s actions just like most of the game tbh

Basically, what if runaway kid went into hiding and successfully avoided the lady, meaning he doesn’t turn into a nome and :)) the ending did not happen. With the most powerful adult gone and six leaving too, RK and the nomes manage to eventually take over the maw and turn it into a safe haven for fleeing kids
