Month of Love: Black & Blue.

I decided to take the first two themes literally.

Society pushes this warped relationship narrative where abusive behaviors masquerade as romance. Obsession, lust, control, and possessiveness are all portrayed – even fetishsized – as hallmarks of love.

Month of Love WIP full detail. Finished image coming tomorrow!

MyPatreon will have a full layered PSD file for all supporters once this is done. I usually flatten my layers as soon as I’m happy with the “new paint”, so this will be a rare glimpse into how I build up my paintings from sketch to finish.

And here we have Agatha’s address in Beetleburg.

The locket itself has been created by Barry but this note had to been added later, after the Clays made Beetleburg their home. I imagine they added it when Agatha was still a little girl because they were afraid she will lose it one day hile playing with other children.

Please note the “reward” in the big capital letters - they had to be pretty sure that other people want return it just out of the kindness of their hearts.
