NicoDia
Nico and Dia constantly discuss idols, they keep updated on all the news and chat about it whenever possible, often getting into debates over it. Their most common date is concerts.
They’re fans of eachother and always insist the other is the second best idol in the world. Nico after Eli in Dia’s opinion and Dia after Nico herself in Nico’s opinion.
Their second most common date is roasting the shit out of people they don’t like. Nico and Dia are brutal, don’t cross them.
Nico constantly sends Dia Pop Team Epic stuff and says that “This is us”
They’re one of the more argumentative couples, they always make up after a bit of time, but the arguments happen regardless.
They’re fantastic second big sisters to their gfs siblings. Dia brings a lot of order to the chaotic Yazawa household, and the Yazawa siblings adore her. Nico, is likewise adored by Ruby, and provides her with a lot of confidence and good advice.
KanaEli
They’re the most graceful, immaculate couple in public. Everyone is jealous of them. In private they’re kind of a mess though.
Kanan is great at bringing out Eli’s competetive side. They’ll play every game they can, pool, air hockey, darts, all that kinda stuff. They get super into them, this competitiveness comes through in their making out too.
They help eachother a lot with their fears. When it’s dark, Kanan comforts Eli and makes her feel better. When there’s lighting or they’re high up, Eli comforts Kanan. Although they alleviate eachothers fears, they don’t completely help, so they tend to cling to eachother and things. As a side note, never let them into a haunted house, they would suffer, so, so much. Also maybe knock out a worker.
Food is a big thing for them, they love sharing their favourite foods with eachother and teaching hem how to make them. For Kanan it’s all sorts of fish stuff and for Eli it’s Russian food.
NozoMari
Nozomi spends Mari’s money a lot, she always does it with a good reason though. She gets gifts for her friends, things she thinks Mari would like, clothes Mari would want to see her in. Mari, of course doesn’t care, there’s nothing Nozomi could buy that’d put a dent in her bank account.
Gold is a huge aesthetic for them. Mari likes it for it’s shininess and colour, Nozomi likes it because it has a mystical, magical aesthetic. They buy eachother gold jewellery, their house is decorated with gold stuff.
Because the two of them have lived alone, they greatly alleviate eachother’s loneliness and make eachother feel better. It’s a much bigger thing for Nozomi, but it’s important to Mari as well. They’re just glad to have someone who can relate to their problems.
They’re the most obnoxious, flashy couple in the world. Matching outfits, being obscenely into eachother in public, making out and cuddling without a care in the world.

Tsubahono (Honoka’s parents): Tsubasa is rather relaxed about it, she wants to make a good impression, but she isn’t worried. That is, until she actually walks into Honoka’s house. Her parents are unintentionally intimidating, especially her stoically silent father. Honoka’s mother is very nice and does all the questioning, she’s heard a lot about her from Honoka and wants to make sure she lives up to the hype and is good for her daughter.She, of course, passes the “interview” with flying colours. Honoka’s dad gives her a simple thumbs up of approval and she’s welcomed to the family (And is given a discount on all Homura bakery products)
RinPana (Rin’s parents): Rin’s parents have known Hanayo for years now due to her being Rin’s best friend, but with their first meeting with her as Rin’s girlfriend, they try and make it special. When they first open the door to them, her dad scares the shit out of Hanayo by jokingly doing the intimidating “what are your intentions with my daughter” thing. Both of them immediately treat her like part of the family and start spoiling her. Rin finds it kinda embarrassing. They make fried rice for dinner and give her mochi for dessert. Rin’s dad jokes a lot about stuff, not poking fun or being mean spirited, just being silly. Rin’s mum absolutely adores Hanayo and is so happy Rin has such a fantastic girlfriend.
NozoEli (Nozomi’s parents): Not only is it Eli’s first time meeting them, it’s Nozomi’s first time seeing them in a long while. Nozomi is pretty nervous about seeing them again and Eli is very bias against them. After travelling to their house, they get welcomed very warmly. It’s all awkward, but her parents try their best to re-establish the lost connection. It never gets brought up or discussed directly, but it’s in the back of everyone’s mind. They both give Eli their blessing. After the first few awkward hours, they start to get along more naturally and normally. It’s not perfect and it’s still kind of awkward, but t’s a good start. Nozomi and Eli leave satisfied and hopeful for a better relationship with them in the future.
KotoUmi (Kotori’s parents): Like with Hanayo’s parents, they knew their daughter’s girlfriend really well already. Umi was extremely nervous about it, wanting desperately to get their approval and prove that she’s worthy of Kotori. Kotori thought she was taking it too seriously, considering they know her already. Kotori’s parents were rather teasing about it. Her mum claiming that she “knew what they dd at school”. Umi practically died at that and Kotori was pretty embarrassed too. When it came time, Umi bowed to them and requested their approval, they considered saying no to mess with her, but didn’t. Kotori’s dad resolved to sew her a gift in celebration.
NicoMaki (Maki’s parents): The meeting happened at Maki’s mothers insistence, as the others didn’t really think it was necessary. Despite this Nico was keen to impress, especially because of what she’d heard about Maki’s dad being so serious and strict. To her surprise, both parents were extremely curious about her. They both initially seemed unimpressed, but after they finished questioning her they both smiled approvingly. Maki’s dad saying that while she’s odd, she has all the traits he could ever want for his daughter’s girlfriend. Passionate, hardworking, caring, and most importantly, able to make her happy. Nico was a bit confused about that last one, so Maki’s mother stepped in and explained that she was doing a great job with that, and in private Maki seemed a lot happier. She advised her to just keep at it and not get discouraged, it’s just a Nishikino thing.
EreAn (Erena’s parents): Their first meeting actually went really badly. Anju didn’t take it very seriously and her lax attitude came across sort of badly to Erena’s parents.They also didn’t respond well to her being overly friendly and causal with people she just met. They didn’t advise Erena against dating her, they believed it was her choice, but they didn’t really like her very much. During the whole thing Erena’ was a little irritated, but was accustomed to Anju, so she didn’t really see the issues her parents did. After getting a talking to from Erena, Anju agreed to have another, more serious meeting, where she’d be more respectful and try to come across better and not speak without thinking like she tended to.

They both have ridiculous gay fantasies that they love fulfilling for eachother.
A lot of their dates involve aquariums and the beach. You likes talking about and explaining the sea and the animals that live in it. Riko listens intently and asks her a bunch of questions, genuinely curious about it all.
Sometimes when You needs to agree or say yes to Riko, she says “Yousoriko!”. Riko finds it really embarrassing, but cute.
Riko dies whenever she sees You with glasses on, she looks so great in them, she just can’t handle it.
You drags Riko to all sorts of sport things she’s bad at. She suffers but she does it for You. Of course You is fantastic at them. Riko tends to just watch her rather than be involved herself.
They picked the hobby of stargazing together. They rarely do it alone, only when together. It’s sort of their thing.
Honoka - Protagonist: Honoka comes from a small town in the corner of the reigon, being part of a family of pokemon breeders that specialise in fighting types. Having lived a nice, quiet life with pokemon already, Honoka didn’t see much point in going on a journey like most of her peers. That was, until she found out that a lot of business in her town, including her family’s ranch, would be shut down. In order to combat this, Honoka sets out to become the champion, hoping the publicity would help save her home. With a recently hatched Torchic by her side, Honoka starts her quest.

Hanayo - 2nd Gym Leader (Grass): A pretty shy gym leader, not on the same level of celebrity as the others, being sort of overlooked. Her town contains is the home of pokemon musicals in the region, and she’s well known for being a huge fan of them and even having her own pokemon take part in them.

Maki - 5th Gym Leader (Fire): Maki themes her gym around her two passions in life, fire type pokemon and music. Her influence is felt all throughout the town she’s the gym leader of, with a large population of musicians and fire type trainers living there due to being inspired by her. Maki doesn’t think much of this however and simply tries to get on with her job despite her fame. She’s not Nico afterall.

Nozomi - 6th Gym Leader (Psychic): Nozomi is rarely actually found at her gym, often off guiding trainers who’re still early into their journey or researching the mythology of the region. Her boss (Eli) pretty much always has to inform her when she has a challenger. Despite this, she’s not irresponsible, being extremely good at fulfilling her gym leader duties, the worst you can say about her is that she’s a little late to face challengers sometimes.
