i’ve never played d&d before but i really have the hankering to play a game. or any ttrpg. i’m interested in potentially GMing but i should probably…play a game first

people with knowledge of game dev, I have a question!

for a pixel 2D project, how do you deal with customization both from an art and a programming standpoint? just trying to learn from SDV’s spritesheets, the hair and clothes seem separate, but I’m not sure how they’re put together. also, with the eye color, does it have to be manually changed for every sprite or can there be a separate sprite sheet just for eyes?
