I know I haven’t been active on this blog and I’m sorry. I’m gonna start being more from now on. But this post has nothing to do with witchy stuff. It has to do with with Lyra McKee.

If you don’t know I grew up in Ireland and still go home every few months. She was shot dead in Derry. Which is in the North. If you don’t know the history of the troubles or the IRA Google it cause it will take too long for me to explain.

The police are treating it as an act of terrorism and saying the ‘New IRA’ may be behind it. Anyone who lives in Ireland knows how scary this is.

Lyra McKee was shot dead while while at the riots at Derry. I hope her family will get through this as easily as possible and that she is at peace. She was gay and outed at 14 but survived the Norths’ anti-gay attitude. She is dead at 29 and her partner wanted to grow old with her. Say her name and remember her because I fear she is the first victim in the new era of the troubles.

But I’m scared. Fuck Brexit Fuck the IRA and fuck anyone who thinks their methods are ok.
