Nanami wasn’t present in the Utena movie not because she turned into a cow but because she eventually managed to leave Ohtori on her own.

The dokidoki cures each unlock their own engage mode when they’re older (perhaps 16/ early 20s?) After that they unlock their final form, their parthenon mode, which rivals the power of the original legendary cure before them. Submitted by Anonymous

The Utena movie is a retelling of the anime, but as an abstract form of Anthy’s perspective

In the Madoka universe, the closer a magical girl gets to becoming a witch, her magical girl outfit begins to change and be more like her witch’s outfit (e.x Sayaka’s leggings would change color and have a scale-like print, and her boots would do the same, to represent the mermaid tail Oktavia has)

Every magical girl transformation happens inside the girl’s head. It reality, it’s just a flash of bright, colorful light that engulfs them and they are transformed. Submitted by Anon

The Precure are a massive group of Magical Girls that help other planets. They each have their own station on Earth where they defeat villians and help their planets. That’s why they’re all called Precure.

Queen Serenity was originally from a space-faring society that studied the evolutions of life-bearing planets. She was sent to the Moon to monitor Earth and stayed there for millennia, her crew reproducing quickly over those thousands of years enough to produce an entire society. They spread to other planets, and the original order not to interfere with Earth’s evolution unless strictly necessary became almost a religious doctrine.

The reason franchises like Super Sentai are so male-dominated is that they take place in Precure universes, so most of the girls who would make good heroines are already busy being Precure.

Usagi’s hair turned silver after she awakened as Princess Serenity. But after Queen Metalia was defeated it turned blonde again. Later it became silver once again when she became Neo-Queen Serenity

I feel like there would be a multiplayer magical girl game where all the magical girls in any show could go on and play as themselves. They could relive their own adventures or play through those of other magical girls, and it would be multiplayer so they could work together. And while some of the girls would be trying to get quests done, others would just be typing random things into the text-to-speech box and hearing it come out ridiculously through the game’s voicebank.

If chibiusa and Nagisa momoe ever met I could see them being the best of friends and relating to one and other since they’re both the youngest of their respective magical girl teams

Small headcanon, but I think that the into to rebellion is sorta like what happens after the movie. Cause Homura discovering her friends, Homura acting happy but secretly hiding what happened, and Kyubey nowhere to be seen.

Extra solar Sailor Guardians don’t look remotely human, but their power allows them to be seen as the same species as the viewer. Nyanko and Mau look kind of like the na'vi from Avatar (but not blue and with a different cultural aesthetic) - Luna, Artemis, and Diana don’t look like this because they were given truly human (or rather, Silver Millennial) forms. Siren and Mermaid have lots of tentalces and lobster-like shells. Papillion and Cocoon have four arms, no breasts, and insect-like abdomens and exoskeletons. Galaxia is a beautiful but terrifying eldritch horror. I haven’t decided what the others look like.

Haruka’s family is new money, while Michiru’s family is old money. Setsuna is independently wealthy, though I haven’t figured out how yet. Maybe she took advantage of her prescience and made a killing in the stock market.

The reason why Tuxedo Mask doesn’t approach Sailor Moon in the beginning of the series is because there’s a force field that prevents him from going to her. Only when Mamoru learns he’s Tuxedo Mask was he able to actually approach Sailor Moon.
