Weekend stolen. That’s all I can say about my last two days. When I refer to my job being busy people who don’t know me might assume things got busy working a normal job.. but I have a career in IT and I am salaried. When it is month end and the accounting folks need some things looked at or emergency code changes so month end processing can happen successfully and be verified.. I am often called. I’m posting pictures of my recent red dress shoot.. because this weekend I wore a red cape, sacrificing my free time once again so that 25 people were not on conference calls trying to sort out stuff that could already be sorted. Happy Monday to you all. I need a vacation.

I have a new video dropping to my YouTube channel tonight. 8 hours of editing to produce a 30 minute video Usually it is not that bad for my Retro PC videos, but I was having issues with my GoPro while recording this particular one.

I’ve been a little over worked lately. I always push myself to funnel energy into my coding projects, content creation, and editing when I have the extra energy. I’ve been feeling amazing lately but I need to be careful to not over do it.

It’s a Maiden with eyelash extensions! Two hours having to keep my eyes closed.. and I told her I’m not afraid to go dramatic with them. I’m glad I told her that . I was able to treat myself to this thanks to some support from my other social media where just fans visit.. big wink with heavy eyelashes. Thank you!

Yes I’m trans. I’m under daily attack from people who choose to declare me as their enemy and spread lies and misinformation about me. This is all to score political points with people who choose to remain ignorant of the reality of trans existence throughout history.

We are a gift to humanity, not a stain on it. We do not “groom” children to be like us but only seek to provide for their safe and healthy growth in a society that remains hostile to them despite years of progress.

We are found in every part of society and will never stop fighting against the evil people who wish to erase and even kill us. With members of the far right literally calling for supporters of transgender people to be placed in front of a firing squad.. this day of visibility is as vital as any other.

I thank all of my trans siblings and allies that fight for me and I hope my existence and my life will always be worthy of the sacrifices of those made before me.

Please consider on this day placing a gift to a trans charity. While I know Amazon is problematic for some people to use.. I also suggest setting up Amazon Smile to give a portion of any purchases to a cause of your choice. On mine, I support Howard Brown Health Center where I personally received amazing trans related health care. Here is a little about their mission:

Just some recent pics and a quick note to say I had a busy but awesome week. My seasonal depression/ effective disorder did not steal this week from me! It has a been a week of good news and of getting things accomplished and I’m just taking a content sigh of relief. Little Black Dress at the Cidery.. I may have gotten a little over dressed to go to a Cidery with my friends. I don’t care though, I was so excited to get out. Before leaving I tried some pics with just lip gloss and some with my favorite lipstick. I ended up going with the lip gloss because it would smudge less on my drinks :)

Announcement: I am going to be starring in a new Star Trek Adventures series on Twitch as part of the crew of the Shran. My character is named U'vana NeKiss and she is a half-human half-orion science officer. This show will begin in March and will have several well known people from the Star Citizen community as members of the crew. This is going to be so fun!

We just had a 3 hour practice session Sunday and I can tell you that the crew is very interesting and that we all had a blast. ;)

I will post the official start time once that is ironed out but tentatively Episode One will be streamed live on Twitch Sunday March 20th. Episodes will also be posted to YouTube after a little post-editing.

Yes, I will have green skin on during the live broadcast, lol.

What’s up with Ms. Ari a.k.a. MaidenAriana? After 5 years of being in a financial prison due to divorce and a resulting chapter 13 bankruptcy.. I have made the final payment on that bankruptcy agreement. There should be no issues with it being discharged and I should have a letter confirming as such in about 30 days. Once that happens I think I will throw a party. My lawyer told me that fewer than 10% of people usually can complete their chapter 13 in my area because the typical agreements are so restrictive and they end up in chapter 7 (liquidation) anyway. I was determined to hold onto my condo for my kids and my myself during a period that was hard enough on us all already. And.. we did it!! I say we.. because I fully recognize I might not have made it without working my third job of raising money part time through twitch, patreon, and later OF (which helped immensely in the difficult final stretch when payments increased!).
Five and a half years ago I decided to give streaming a shot since I am a software developer and gamer anyway. With a full time career I was only able to do so part time, but I found an audience and developed a wonderful community even with the limited time I could stream.

I am so grateful. I am still soaking in the fact that I likely won’t have to be counting my pennies so closely.. barely making it on financial fumes to each payday. Starting this next month, I can breathe.

I have learned how to manage money like a pro and learned to ace the paying bills game (often having to wait up to the 3rd notice). Timing things just right to where there would be just barely enough money left each pay period was a necessary evil. There was even a short period where I relied on payday loans for emergencies (avoid these if you can).

Getting to this goal has delivered me a sense of calm that is overwhelming and I have cried many happy tears of relief.
